It's a tongue-in-cheek joke. She's alluding to the blood of Jesus, which Christians claim covers/conceals/hides/washes out one's sins. In other words, she's overjoyed with the "power" of the concealer that does what apparently most other concealers cannot. It's a cultural thing.

Well it’s kinda like saying is a Leopard yellow with black spots or black with yellow spots? Even if the vitiligo has spread quite far it is still normally quite easy to tell the original skin colour.

There's also the application process, with a cream stick formula you want to go directly on your face with it then blend and not use a small shadow brush to pull off a little bit on the brush and expect it to actually get any product or coverage.

I think Amanda doesnt get that the redness wont go away with just the one concealer. She needs to use colour corrector underneath to even out the colours to even remotely get it to an even shade, not just the concealer.

Yeah she should get a green corrector, it will cancel out all redness then the concealer will work for her a little bit better.

Jasmine, the issue is that she's judging how well it's covering her birthmark. And most of these would have done okay if she color corrected it. With pigmentation that severe, you can't use just one product. No concealer will ever be good enough just on its own for something like that.

As someone who has vitiligo and cystic acne, it can be really damaging to someone's self esteem. I was tortured as a child by most of my class mates and treated like I had a contagious skin disease by even my teachers and doctors. And then puberty hit and made that entirely worst. My step sister had the port wine stain birthmark. We both considered bleaching our skin at one point. This camera is nicer to their skin than a mirror is. You can't tell as badly. But if you were in their bodies and you had to look in the mirror with these things - I get it. They are all gorgeous. God, it made me so sad to watch them feel like they needed to cover themselves. But also, as someone who's been there - I understand.

Honestly being a person with vitiligo is pretty harder than normal, sure you live your life normally like everyone else but its kinda uncomfortable when people just stare at your skin, I've also been bullied for it, and even though it changes my skin coloration, with the amount of melanin I have , its definitely not just the colors of my skin. But my skin is also pretty sensitive and the areas with the vitiligo or my lighter skin color is pretty dry and I can't really do anything about it, and there isn't a cure or antidote there's just an injection to make the color spread more to even it out ✌️

My only complaint is that for the women with redness, YOU HAVE TO COLOR CORRECT TO FULLY COVER THE REDNESS!!!! Unless you really cake any concealer on, it won't cover it all.

Well isn’t concealer used after foundation to cover up marks such as spots or scars, since foundation obviously doesn’t cover it all up they are seeing how well the concealer would do, no need to get triggered
