Great questions, and helpful information. I live in Costa Rica, and I can say that we have great places to hike here (our channel is all about those hikes, so appreciate if you can check them out). I'm sorry that the lady from the video has to move to such cold place as Montana. We take our 9 and 12 year old kids to our hikes and I was wondering if you have an idea of which section of the AT would be a good trail to take them for a 2 or 3 night trip? We are traveling to west Virginia on December.

You recommended a brand of gaiters...As an early onset Alzheimer's hiker/backpacker person, I didn't write it down quickly & forgot. Sorry. Happy Hiking!

Sandra Kennedy Moore I'm pretty sure he uses Dirty Girl gaiters. I've seen other hikers talk about them and they love them as well. Rob

is it true there is rock climbing required on AT

There is a lot of hand over hand rock climbing in New Hampshire & Maine. Nothing that you would need any "Climbing Gear" for, but def some tough rock scrambling! Thanks for Watching! Hike On, Darwin

Met this guy up in Maine when i started my SOBO hike (currently in TN) he does not enjoy hiking, he was miserable and complained about everything. He was the biggest downer i met on this whole trip. Companys and customers should not go him for reviews. He told us word for word "The whole trail sucks, nothing is enjoyable".
