❓ASK DR. H - What are signs I have a cracked tooth?
👉🏼 In this video, we’re talking about cracked teeth that are able to be restored and saved. Not ones that have to be extracted.
Here are 3 signs you may have a cracked tooth:
1️⃣ You have increased biting pain or discomfort.
2️⃣You have increased temperature sensitivity.
3️⃣ You have pain that isn’t constant, just when you’re chewing / eating / drinking on the tooth.

My tooth had a huge crack but it doesn't seem to hurt any ideas why it does not hurt?

Have you had it evaluated by your dentist? The crack may not be significant enough or it's possible it how a low grade chronic infection and may never actually end up hurting that bad. I hope that helps. When in doubt always best to see you Dentist :-)

Have you seen teeth that don't necessarily give a sharp zing on biting, but more of a dull pain and sometimes a sore pain. By soreness I mean like, the feeling you get when you ding a coffee mug on your tooth and it's sore for a while. My dentist says I clench my teeth a lot which causes a lot of pain for me. BUT I swear this one tooth on the front hurts more than others and will feel sore and painful a lot. They aren't sure what's wrong. Do you think it could be cracked?

Have they taken X-rays and made sure the root and bone surrounding the tooth look ok? Assuming everything looks good, if you are grinding they could possibly adjust your occlusion (bite) if you're putting too much stress on it to see if that helps.

After the tooth extraction for braces the premolar hurts while biting is it okay 😢?

If the adjacent tooth was extracted it most likely is just sore from the area healing, could be slightly increased biting pressure. If it persists give you dentist a shout

just went to the dentist because my tooth hurts. It feels like a burning sensation/irritation dentist said I dont have anything at ALL that im just “overthinking it”… when i place my tongue on area that hurts it feels a little better. Dentist said no cavities xrays didnt show anything… What could it be?

Every time i drink cold water my teeth always hurt and when i put a flashlight on it i can see a little crack its like a hair line what should i do? Im scared 🥺😭

Sometimes teeth can be sensitive or tender while undergoing ortho. If you're really concerned that something is going on you could never go wrong asking your orthodontist and dentist about it to make sure things look ok.
