Listening to the letter, my only thought is how very lucky she is to have been loved so unconditionally by someone she loved! Could we all be so lucky to have known that depth of love from another in our lifetime.

Thank you for these sessions, they really resonate with me. Just registered for June 1st session. Father recently diagnosed with vascular dementia after two strokes. Knew something was wrong, but didn't really understand what I was seeing. Thank you for this support and education!!

How would you get your loved one into memory care if they only have Medicare with no assets, and all the care facilities say they are not accepting any more Medicare patients?

Another recommendation is to talk to your local Long Term Care Ombudsman. They are advocates for residents in nursing facilities and assisted living facilities and will know more specifics about the local options. You can find the Ombudsman program at your local Area Agency on Aging, which can be found at www.eldercare.acl.gov
