I honestly think that the phantom is a fun challenge. it tests your timing with a sword and aim with a bow.

Maybe a dog who spawns in a specific biome has different characteristics: Oak forest, birch and Spruce have normal, Dark oak forests have black, They could add desert dogs - Having similar fur to dingoes and they hunt rabbits, Village dogs have multiple breeds and help out the iron golems in defending the village, Dogs that spawn in snowy biomes have bright white fur, Plains biome dogs have browny-dark fur, jungle dogs are light greyish brown e.t.c. just putting some ideas out there

I feel like the already existing animals need an update instead of adding so many random new ones (those ones are still nice tho!). I feel like it's about time the farm animals got an updated look, maybe better design that's less flat? Like ears sticking out or more realistic proportions. More color variations would be so cool too, and make male and female versions of the animals that look slightly different (eg. Roosters vs. chickens). Personally I want a farming and pet update. I would like to see dogs added like how the cats are now, they spawn around villages and wander. And wolves could still be tamable too. It would be nice to see them have a new purpose as well, such as scaring away skeletons, hinting when buried treasure is nearby, or scare away untamed wolves and foxes from your sheep and chickens! Different breeds would be cool, especially different sized ones. Adding more small pets would be fun as well! Like frogs, hedgehogs, reptiles, or even adding actual aquariums for fish. I'd love to see more crops as well and more cooking options! They can still do so much with the game, I'd like to see them add more smaller details and improve on what they already have.

Dogs could be able to dig for items, help a defend a player against mobs, skeletons could be scared of dogs as the dogs want their bones. The dog breeds could be just for aesthetic purposes or certain dog breeds could be better at some stuff like sporty/runner dogs could be a little faster, herding dogs could help leaded animals keep up with the player, etc.

It just feels like they wanna make these changes but don't want to give clear answers in case they don't fall through with the whole team

Can you take my suggestion for the pirate mob? Its is basically an illager. It spawns near shipwrecks, and it has an iron sword. It gives weakness to whatever it attacks. It has a 30% chance of spawns with iron armour, and a 15% chance it spawns with any enchantments on their iron sword. Can you make a helmet that fits their heads? They spawn 1 to 4 at once. They have 12 whole hearts, the same as a Vindicator. and there's a 0.5 out of 100 chance that it will spawn a boss called the Captain. It has 40 whole hearts, and it is full iron armour(Please make a helmet that fits their heads.)He has a sharpness V iron sword, swiftness and quickness, and not only does he give you weakness but also slowness. Oh and can you make a health bar for him? (He's basically a boss.)

We need more breeds and types of dogs and bowls for them to eat food in. We can make dog food with- 2 Bones, 5 Carrots/Beetroot/or any crops, 5 Cooked Meat items (Any meat) and a water bucket. Dog bowls can be made by a bowl in the middle and surrounded by iron on the bottom and sides. You can craft different dog bowls with different ingredients and the more better the more space to store dog food. They shall add a feature that whenever you dog is hungry you hear a really loud bark so you give him food, and the dog shall always come to you for a walk. :D
