When you realize you paid 20$ once for Minecraft and we’re still getting updates that are bigger than paid DLCs on most 90$ games.

Every is saying how cute Agnes is. But can we appreciate how the other members are also very compassionate with this game. Let us hope they stay positive and passionate

I have a little story to share I had this teacher in high school. She was this small cute lady that loved her job and the kids she teached. I would always show her the stories i wrote and she would tell the other teachers about them with so much hype! Agnes looks EXACTLY like her and seeing her, her happiness and excitemend made me remember my teacher and the times we had. Never lose that smile agnes.

We really need Agnes, Jeb, and other staff on the team to play an actually survival world together.

When someone is smiling and you can see lines under their eyes, that means its a true smile. When someone is making hand gestures while explaining something, that means they are excited about the thing they are talking. Be like Agnes. Talk about what you like.

Caves and Cliffs Update: Better Caves and Mountains Also Them: Warden is also here Me: Oh so Minecraft is a horror game

This should be really cool to see exactly how they implement the large ore veins. They are already making a ton of changes to Ore Generation by moving the ideal spot to mine individual ores away from one another, so they are already well on their way to making mining "more stategic". The idea of big ore veins on top of that is pretty cool as it gives more of a discovered treasure feel to mining. These two ideas are kinda opposite one another, but I like the idea that there is a reward for mining in the exact spot you "should" be and a potential reward for just exploratory mining. It's a very interesting way to change mining so that it rewards different kinds of players.

mojang, I have an idea. it's about the copper nugget. it would be interesting you to create it because we could make copper chains with it. the chains can be oxidized just like copper ore. we can avoid oxidation using the honeycomb and to remove the honeycomb it is necessary to use the axe, with the lightning it is also possible. I've been playing with the new snapshots since they've been available, and you guys absolutely *nailed* it with the new caves. Even without Lush caves, the underdark, and the new dripstone caverns, etc, in the game yet, exploring underground is everything I would've wanted, and more.

Now we have to take the "don't dig straight down rule" more seriously huh.

This is one of the most high quality games ever keep going Minecraft.

I love how transparent minecraft is. They are also genuinely funny a lot of the time. Like I wish Bethesda could make fun of themselves more about fallout 76 etc. Minecraft is one of the only ones I’ve found that is just so direct.

Makes me happy to know most of their feedback about the changes is in form of memes. So they just look at memes to know what they are doing well and what they did wrong.

Seems like you truly have great people working on the Game! I recently started a new World and I spawned on an Island in the middle of an Ocean, it would probably be a terrible spawn for some people, but I really really love it! I can roleplay a little bit as a cast away and the game becomes trickier and more difficult because I have to fish for food or travel to other landmasses which are a bit away. Thank you for making the Game better and better! I really look forward to the updates, they look great!

I’ve seen a lot of people describe Agnes as “cute,” but I think adorable (more akin to actions then look) and her enthusiasm are better reasons why she presents this information in an (entertaining) way

I had a thought for the future: Wide rivers, with rocks jutting out of the middle like in that one cave waterfall image at [9:41] and rapids/faster flowing water, preferably with speed variation at different times (faster rapids/flow during thunderstorms and rain, slower at sunrise/sunset to allow for safer crossing - possibly being swept away at other times/taking minimal damage from hitting rocks at fast speeds while in water, etc.) Would be a cool surface world variation for the future *also maybe adding same rocks and speeds for waterfalls/at the bottom of waterfalls with damage upon impact

I can imagine my future self say “boy I had no idea how better Minecraft got after 1.17”, same applies to 1.18 and so on

I like how minecraft's devs are actually genuine and care about the game. A lot of other studios behind gigantic games just release dlc updates which makes you spend your money on an already bad game. Edit 2: yes yes minecraft dungeons, I don't really know how to argure against that tbh. Maybe that it was not develpoed by the same people that made minecraft java (?) As far as i understood it it was more of a microsoft thing too.

She didn’t say the deep dark was a “journey biome”, so that must mean there is a reward down there. A tough mob like the warden is down there for a reason.

This is great news, and i look forward to exploring the caves in the game, but i would like to share some ideas that i think could improve the fun aspect of the game, and these are things i think the game has needed for at least several years. 1. Different boats and ships: It would be amazing to have larger or varying vessels to explore the oceans with, you could have big ships that can carry a lot of goods and a lot of people, and maybe even modify them with tnt cannons (i’ll get to that). It would make the game feel so much more alive to have moving large objects around a world, and would make transportation so much better without ruining the mechanics of the game. 2. Tnt cannons: I know minecraft isn’t inherently a violent game, but let’s face it, every player has tried building tnt cannons, and they’re always so big and clunky and with short range. It would be so much fun to add pirate-style cannons into the game, and would make defending structures more interesting. 3. Forts: I think the game needs rare structures that the player has to conquer in the overworld, and forts could do that. Have them full of baddies and a lot of loot and there would be players attacking them all the time. 4: More overworld natural dynamics: I’ve always seen Minecraft as a sort of simulator, it’s like another world within our own. I feel like changing seasons, tides, different weather and maybe even natural disasters would work really well and make the game feel more alive, especially for a modern Minecraft experience. Tides would only go in or out by one or two blocks, and having rivers actually flowing to larger bodies of water, or having oceans with actual waves would be so cool. Tree leaves could change colour depending on the season, and snow would blanket the world in Winter. I just think it would be awesome and make it feel more beautiful and real. 5. Hear me out on this one... Volcanoes. I know, i know, everyone’s worried about their buildings getting blown up, but i think with the new changes to mountains it might be time to add some really dangerous but worthwhile reasons to climb them. So, volcanoes. There can be three different types, extinct volcanoes (which are basically just mountains with craters in them and obsidian everywhere), dormant volcanoes (which can erupt but extremely rarely, and contain rare resources, and active volcanoes, which erupt relatively frequently and are devastating to their landscape, but have huge amounts of rare resources. 6. Larger settlements: I would like to suggest three types of spawning settlements in the game, one is already in the game, as villages. The next is a town, about four times the size of a village and with a town leader or mayor. Towns are also armed with walls around them, and a handful of guards. Then you could add cities, which would be very large places but extremely rare, about two or four times the size of towns, with strong walls and cannons on them, as well as castles in the centre. They could even have kings or queens. (I love the idea of all the fun that could be had with this, especially since Minecraft seems to be leaning more fantasy these days). 7. More mobs in jungles: Jaguars would be a great addition to the jungle biome. They are a hostile mob, but will only attack if the player runs away from them or isn’t watching them. I think crocodiles would be great too, and would make traversing jungles much more difficult but fun. Crocodiles are a hostile mob within a distance of two or three blocks from a river’s edge in the jungle. 8. More ruins: They don’t have to be giant abandoned castles or fortresses, but i would love to be exploring the world and find a mysterious stone spire, maybe with some pieces of lore or something like that, just littered around the world. You could add more temples and i love the idea of some lore to the game, which has been a long time coming (maybe some connections to the game’s music discs and paintings?) I will add more if i think of them. Thanks for reading
