Join us in person for a Sunday service at 9:30amET at Grace Community Church located at Grace Farms (365 Lukes Wood Road New Canaan CT, 06840).
The "Give Me An Answer" ministry began as an outgrowth of the dialogues Cliffe Knechtle has had with students on various university campuses throughout the United States. These universities include the University of Maine, Harvard, MIT, University of Florida, University of Texas, University of Wisconsin, University of Minnesota, University of California Los Angeles, University of California San Diego, Berkeley, Stanford, University of Hawaii and the University of Washington. Cliffe spoke on these campuses in front of the Student Union or Library at noon for five to ten minutes. At the close of his initial remarks, he'd open up the time for questions and answers, which usually turned into a two to four hour dialogue with students. His crowd size ranged from 25 - 500 students at a time, and between classes, new students would join the discussion. This is an extremely effective way to reach a large number of university students with the Gospel of Christ.

That's true. Usually I see alot of people still attacking when it comes to street preaching but when people like cliff come they are more respectful. People don't like it when Christians go out and biblically street preach by going out on the sidwalks or the street hold up signs and preach they feel attacked and will scream. I'd suggest looking up a street preacher named Kerrigan skelly he's a true man of God and won't hold the word to himself he does preaching the biblical way and see how much hate he gets for it

Pascal's wager. AMEN another video with Cliffe Knechtle back at it🙏 ❤️. I'm a 24 year old Christian virgin guy working as a teacher and counselor so yeah I see unhealthy information being spread through religious and secular beliefs in families and people all of the time which is why I don't always attend church or groups because I'm studying The Bible alone in DA ZONE 😂. I've been watching Cliffe Knechtle's videos since 2020 so this guy's channel is really helpful especially on KZfaq and social media. This has nothing to do with the video but please listen if you want to otherwise leave it alone and ignore it. Hello my name is Justin and I'm a fellow Christian and Apologist but I'm also a college graduate. I'm not a closed minded Theist as I have nothing against Atheists or unbelievers as I speak to them often to understand their reasons for unbelief but we as Christians are convinced of God's Existence due to many real factors). I'm not trying to convert anyone or convince anyone to become Christians as that's The Holy Spirit's job to help people believe but only explain why I believe in Jesus Christ. There's actually evidence of God's Existence in Christianity. First of all there's proof that Jesus of Nazareth existed in history since the writings of Tacitus, Josephus Flavius, Pliny the younger and other historical documents prove that He was living two thousand years ago that even scholars both religious and Atheists agree with historically speaking but not that He's The Divine Son of God because obviously they don't. I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict. Just before anyone says Christianity is a white man's religion made to oppress blacks during slavery you obviously aren't aware that the first Christians were Jews in The Middle East and that Christianity just like any religion can be used by evil and corrupt people to oppress others but you forget that the first Abolitionists/Civil Rights activists were Christians who sought to abolish slavery, racism, segregation, injustice and prejudice throughout American history. Jesus The Christ loves you enough not to give you what we all deserve which is God's Wrath by His Own Blood. Charles Darwin didn't originally come up with The Theory of Evolution over 200 years ago as it is mentioned in the writings of Ancient Greeks who believed in Demons that gave knowledge to philosophers. Evolution makes no sense when nothing has evolved after thousands of years of human history and supposedly the first creature came from primordial sludge several millions of years ago funny how they won't believe that God an Eternal Almighty Spirit Being created us from the Earth) which came from a supermassive expansion of matter at high temperature that inexplicably created everything in the known universe that supposedly came from nothing billions of years ago. How did the organs evolve before there were bones, skin, substance and how did any creatures see before eyes evolved? I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " Origin of The Species" and I'm not convinced of macro Evolutionary biology whereas I accept micro Evolution like speciation and adaptation but not macro Evolution because there's no evidence of it nor clear observable examples of it where living creatures evolve into other kinds of species plus the fact that fossils don't show evidence of evolution and genetic entropy rules out evolution. The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word. Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. I don't mean this is any condescending manner but if you'd like to discuss The Scriptures with me or have me listen to your view on anything my instagram account is Savage Christian Kombatant

one day, i went home from college at afternoon, i was so tired because i got stuck in a traffic jam, and after that i still need to go to a service center inside a mall to fix my phone (something i don't particularly enjoy b/c i usually go straight home after college). My condition was tired from college, can't go straight home (go to mall to fix my phone), stuck in a traffic jam, plus it was raining at that time and i rode a scooter, not car, so i need to wear a raincoat, which make me sweat inside the raincoat (basically everything's unconvenient). After i had done everything i need to do and about to go home from the mall, i asked The Lord, 'should i reward myself with a bit of something before i go home?" Then i sniff the wonderful aroma of bread baked, and then i just feel the Lord wants me to reward myself with a fresh from the oven bread, which i did. my conclusion is, The Lord wants you to enjoy life, and whenever you feel like you're having a bad day, just give yourself a reward for getting through said hard day with something simple, like what i did. Whatever your reward is, make sure it's also something that pleases the Lord, not just yourself.

I was standing on the rec yard by myself. and I cried out to God for the first time in my adult life "How am I going to do this???" Then it got so bright I couldn't see a thing. I like to relate the trinity to a character in a show i used to watch alot when i was younger, that character "naruto" could make clones of himself to do cirtain things like facing off against other people that meant harm, and while these clones weren't naruto, they were still him, in the neans of them acting exactly the same as him. So that would mean that the trinity is GOD and his clones i guess you could say, exept its a whole lot more complex than that, because they are all apart of the same one

To the young man asking the question around the 13:30 mark....the OT shows God's nature, how serious sin is, and how we are unable to keep the Law no matter how hard we try....and that is why we need Christ and a New Covenant. That is why we move away from Law to Grace. Read Romans and see that we are no longer under Law but under Grace.

How can Christians believe that Christ paid for our sins? Can you not see that Christ has been created to enjoy life even as we have been created to enjoy life? Christ has been created to be a blessing and blessed on earth even as we have been born to be both blessing and blessed, for this is the nature of God revealed in His creation. If you remember that "what you truly believe," is what you get, so can you not see that the belief in Christ paying our sins will bring you nothing but misery? Believe in punishment and punishment is what you will get. Believe in killing and destruction as being the right way to reach God, and that is what you will experience-killing and destruction. If you are hungry and thirsty, it is because you are turning away from God within you-within everyone. By indulging your fearful thoughts, anxieties and feelings of hopelessness, you are creating the very conditions you want to rectify. You are doing all these bad things to yourselves.

Question: Despite, I understand the perspective of the need of medicine, and I'm a Christian and a believer in and of God, isn't it that, according to Isaiah 53:5 that "with His stripes we ARE healed", then what is the need of regular medicine and not just prayer and faith? because of His Will or due to a lack of faith on the perspective of the sick or of the one that prays, or what do you base it under?

When we as believers rightly divide the word of truth we shall realise that souls will not be tormented in hell for all eternity. In Revelation 20, verse 10, which speaks of how the wicked “shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” On the surface, this passage certainly gives credence to the theory that the lost will be tortured in hellfire throughout the ages of eternity. Yet when we place this verse alongside other passages which, for example, speak of how Sodom and Gomorrah suffered “eternal fire” (Jude 7) and yet were turned “into ashes” (II Peter 2:6), it becomes clear that the eternal nature of the punishment in question does not mean the infliction of everlasting pain.

@@bonnie43uk Remember Bernie Madoff and his Ponzi scheme. Bernie knew that his day would come when he would have to face the music. And when that day came it was all bad news for Bernie. And though we don’t know what was in Bernie’s mind when that day came, but he probably wished he never started his Ponzi scheme that allowed him to live the high life for a while. And as Bernie dreaded that dreadful day when it would all come crashing down, so too does Satan dread what’s in store for him. And as it must have been getting to Bernie knowing he would eventually have to face the music, it will also be getting to Satan knowing what is in store for him. And this is what is in store for you Tom unless you repent. Perhaps in hell you will initially be cursing God but eventually you will come to your senses and agree you need to be destroyed because you elected to rebel against your maker. This rebellion makes you unfit for eternal life, hence after your punishment you will be destroyed as though you never existed. Weeping and gnashing of teeth is an expression of the severity of your regret for throwing away everlasting life and instead inheriting eternal damnation. You will regret it Bud. Your choice buddy. Always your choice.

There is no plan B. It’s either heaven or hell. Hell isn’t a threat. It’s a fact. It’s a place of destruction. The redeemed are those that are full of grateful obedience to God-and without this 100% obedience they would be ill suited for heaven as new beings. Hell isn’t God’s vendetta or vengeance. It’s the only place where souls can be destroyed as though they never existed. But prior to this destruction, punishment must be met out for sin. Remember this. There will not be one soul in hell that doesn’t realise they could have forsaken those sins that sent them to that place. This includes luke warm Christians proclaiming that holiness is an impossibility. And whilst God could have gotten these wayward souls to obey Him at the point of the sword, however the character change it would have effected, would be insufficient to harmonise with the new heavenly life to come. Sin is rebelling against God, against His 10 great laws. All souls in hell, in order to get out of that place, would most certainly repent. But that would be at the point of the sword. The fear of God and the fear of hell itself is a good goad for the believers to rule themselves so they can ensure they are treading the pathway of holiness. The parable of the sower relates to born again Christians. Not all of them make it. Being born again isn’t an automatic ticket into everlasting life, unless it’s accompanied by 100% obedience to God. We have to prove we are worthy. The scriptures are perfectly clear on this topic telling us we need to strive to get into everlasting life. And strive means try real hard, doesn’t it. Luke 13:23-24 King James Version And he said unto them, STRIVE to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

29 “For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church.” Ephesians 5:29 As a follower of Christ we are to nourish and cherish others as we nourish and cherish our own bodies, to love others as we already nourish and cherish our own bodies of flesh. That is to love others as we already “love”ourselves. 37 “Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’” 38 “This is the first and great commandment.” 39 “And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’” Matthew 22:37-39 14 “For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall LOVE your neighbor as yourself.” Galatians 5:14 2 “BEAR one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2 1 “Let brotherly love continue.” Hebrews 13:1 34 “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.” John 13:34 10 “He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him.” 1 John 2:10 7 “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.” 1 John 4:7 Love one another. ❤️ GOD bless you 🫵🙏

The young blonde girl was was correct, that why we vote democratically for our leaders to set laws on what is right and wrong and we don’t need a god who condoned slavery. In Ephesians 6:5-8, Paul states "Slaves, be obedient to your human masters with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ". Similar statements regarding obedient slaves can be found in Colossians 3:22-24, 1 Timothy 6:1-2, and Titus 2:9-10.

Slavery wasn't the same in those times as we do. Specially in the USA, slavery is seen as a horrible thing. But slavery at the time would be the same as having maid.

29:58 I’m curious to hear what was shared with this young lady. Because I know another woman close to me has that same thinking. I’m seeing a common theme with young men and women age 40 and younger in my age range who grew up catholic or in a catholic school believe this way. I did not grow up catholic but my father was until he learn the holy scriptures which the Catholic Church uses. He realized praying to Mary mother of Jesus could not save his soul. He also, realized there was idol worship involved. I use to go to Catholic Church with him at Queen of Peace I loved going there than to my moms Baptist church because it only lasted 30 mins instead of 4 long hours at my moms Baptist church. Of course as a kid I’m going to like going to a place that didn’t take up my day so I can go home and play. Now I do not consider myself Baptist or catholic. I’m just a follower of Christ Jesus. He has revealed himself to me in a way that I know I’m still here because of Him. I love the holy scriptures because it shined a light on everything that I did and doing in my life the LORD has given me. So a passage came to my mind when Cliff was trying to genuinely and compassionately explain to her was what Jesus said to his disciples “Matthew 17:21 But this kind does not go out except for prayer and fasting.” Amen

As someone younger than 40, agreed RCC is anti-biblical: 1. Perpetual/worship virgin Mary (despite Matthew 13:55+56) 2. transubstantiation (despite Mark 14:22-25,Luke 22:18-20,1 Corinthians 11:23-25) 3. saved by works/not faith (despite Ephesians 2:8+9) 4. papal infallibility as "another Christ"/alter Christus (Despite Exodus 20:3) 5. modifying commandments (despite Deuteronomy 4:2,Revelation 22:18-19) 6. worldly acceptance (despite 1 John 2:15+16)
@deancovalt6343
@deancovalt6343 3 ай бұрын
@@robmc120 1. Catholics don't worship Mary. Read the Catechism of the Catholic Church for official teachings. 2. The word transubstantiation is not in the Bible but the idea/teaching is there. Read the Bread of Life Discourse in John 6. Also, it's clear in the teachings of Jesus during the Passover meal that the wine is His blood and the bread is His body. So, there's that. 3. You're not merely saved by work but you're not merely saved by faith either. Faith without works is dead (James 2:26). Also, read the separation of the lambs from the goats in Matthew 25. They weren't judged based on presence or lack of faith. They were judged based on what they did and did not do with respect to the "least of these". So, there's that. Moreover, your having faith is a work. You chose to follow Christ. Christ didn't force you. 4. Jesus chose Peter to be the leader of the Church and gave him the keys of the kingdom and the authority that whatever he bound on earth was bound in heaven and whatever he lossed on earth would be loosed in heaven. He changed Simon's name to Peter/Cephas (we know from scripture that it is always something quite important whenever God changes a person's name) and called him the rock upon which Jesus will build his Church and the gates of Hades will not overcome it (Matt.16:13-20). The Church is the pillar and bulwark of the truth (Tim 3:15). These passages/verses at the very least speak to some sort of infallibility in the Church if not Papal infallibility. 5. How are the commandments modified? Would you be more specific? As far as I know, the only difference is how understand what the 10 commandments are. Catholics didn't change the text. Though the commandments are said to be “ten” in Exodus 34:28, they are not numbered by the inspired authors of Sacred Scripture. If you count the “you shall nots” along with the two positive commandments of keeping holy the Sabbath and honoring father and mother, you end up with 13 commandments. So the actual numbering of the commandments depends upon which “you shall nots” you lump together as one commandment and which ones you separate. And in the end, which “you shall nots” you lump together depends upon your theology. Remember, the Bible wasn't originally numbered into chapters and verses by the inspired authors. That came later. Also, if the Catholic Church is the Church that Jesus founded, then the Catholic Church is the only Church to determine what the 10 commands are. Not some other church. 6. Worldly acceptance? I don't know what you are referring to and I fail to see any relevance to John 2:15-16. Would you mind clarifying your statement?

I was raised Protestant (Baptist, Evangelical Free, non-Denominational, etc.). I was Protestant for 13 years until I looked into Church history and learned what the Catholic Church and the Church fathers taught. It wasn't until then that much of the Bible made much more sense to me. Many of the hard to understand passages all of a sudden made sense when undeerstood from a Catholic understanding. I've been Catholic for over 20 years and have not regretted the decision to convert to Catholicism.

@@deancovalt6343 " I was Protestant for 13 years until I looked into Church history and learned what the Catholic Church and the Church fathers taught. Despite cited verses in my first comment directly contradicting RCC? Take RC to Jesus Matthew 15:3, "Jesus replied, “And why do you break the command of God for the sake of your tradition?"

@@robmc120 With regard to what they taught me, one would be the fact that without an infallible interpreter of Scripture, there's no way to know who's right. With all these Protestant denominations interpreting Scripture in different ways to support their different views, I was left trying to figure out who's right and it was impossible from a "Bible Alone" positions since everyone has the same Bible but every denomination has their own interpretations based on their own authority. As the Ethiopian eunich said to Philip when asked, "Do you understand what you are reading?" to which the eunich said, "How can I unless someone explains it to me? Thus, there has to be someone to infallibly interpret the Scriptures and tell us what the teachings of Christ are. Christ set up his Church to do that and His Church is the Catholic Church with Peter/Cephas and his successors as the Rock upon which Christ built His Church. With regard to Bible verses that contradict the teachings of the Catholic Church, why don't you give me just one that you think contradicts the teachings of the Catholic Church and I will address it.

Maybe God Intended us to be self righteous to start out in life with? As back in the day it may of been simply survival method to get us going, UNTIL we find faith, and be taught it and thus finally bringing us to god and born again? I guess those without god get lost in self righteousness?...It's all a beautiful journey 🙏

It’s not even worth the contemplation friend… I as I’m sure many have pondered it. But like the beginning of this video is stated….this body is a gift from God. Don’t take it for granted man…try to confide in Jesus Christ when things feel so hard you can’t take it…. Start living for Christ…you have to realize you’re loved by all of us here in these comments…please don’t go into that darkness. This beautiful (hard) LIFE is so much better than dropping into that dark abyss, scared, unsure, hurting…keep Jesus in your heart and and stay here with us friend! Love you buddy. Listen to “Tomorrow’s Gonna be a Brighter Day” by Jim Croce 🤘🏼 peace out good sir.

Yes God will continue to forgive you- 70 times 7 - he's changing your heart. Each time you sin its hurting you more than it did before. That's the holy spirit at work. Don't forget you're already saved through faith so Jesus sacrificed for you, apologize and sacrifice not sinning for him. Day by day soon it will go away

Lust is a tough sin to flee from. But God is pleased you are trying to flee from it. All who go to hell will know they could have forsaken the sins that sent them there. If you fear God and hell you will get the strength to abstain from sin. If you do your bit, God will give you the grace to overcome. Keep striving. To strive means to try real hard. Luke 13:23-24 King James Version (KJV) And he said unto them, STRIVE to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
