It’s not a “non-strict”, it’s a mom. Mothers like this are the ones who raise good kids. Not strict moms. They may raise good kids, but their kids would usually hide them this type of things. I’m glad my mother is like this woman, that’s why I almost tell her everything I do, because I’m not scared to tell her anything.

I think a lot of this strict vs non strict is just parental/child relationship and how the children perceive their parent's parenting.
