Lmaooo literally was up coding from 2am-12pm😭 Time really flies when you’re trying to find that bug, you’re dedicated and thinking you found the bug in 2 hours max. Whole time it’s been 4(over exaggerating) but I love it I learned python in about 2-3 days. Java, C#, and C++ took 1-2 weeks each. I wake up and grind softwares😅 over 10 hours daily. As I type this I’ve been up for 24 hours now😅

@sonjailic

@@gerardconsidinejr3258 Your age doesn't matter. What I see a lot is people getting high-paying jobs in tech by contributing to open-source projects. Once you are confident in your skills you can start doing that. The great thing is that you can pick which projects you work on, and if you are good at it, you will get a job offer where you get to do the same thing you did for that project. It's a new kind of resume and you can contribute to some big-name companies.

if you want to get good at coding learn Java and the four pillars of OOP, C++, Linux and other languages that are more common at bigger companies. HTML, CSS and JavaScript are more for web design, and they likely won't be very useful to you or mean anything on your resume if you do not plan on becoming a web developer. Just some advice🙂

People claim that they work as " Software Engineer " although they do not have an engineering degree, they majored in CS. What Im saying is that software engineering is not the same as CS , " Engineering " is a much harder major than CS and engineering aims to more complex and a deep dive into the computer engineering part . At the end, you are a software engineer if you only have an engineering degree !

I mean, electrical engineers just copy and paste components together till it works, civil engineers copy and paste concrete blocks together, chemical engineers just copy and paste chemicals together till a new one comes out. Using any programming language is essential just copy and pasting machine code as it is all copied and packaged into neat little functions, and keywords etc. We are all building off previous knowledge, no need to reinvent the wheel.
