So IMO no one knows more about submissions and grappling than Rener and Ryron Gracie. Both of them agree Robbie was in trouble and was NOT getting out. I tend to agree with two guys who are grappling legends and coaches. Ben won that fight whether it was stopped early or not. Put yourself in Herbs position. You see Asken snag a neck and have full control and Robbies arm goes limp. I even jumped up and said hes out. This was not a bad stoppage at all. Herb is the best in the game and he made the right call.

I believe the occasion Ben and Chael are referring to is the phantom illegal knee that Josh Koschek pretended Paul Daley hit him with, when they fought. Koschek pretended to be hurt until they showed the replay and Daley's knee only hit Josh's hair. This controversial moment of that fight is often forgotten, because it is overshadowed by another, more controversial moment that occurred after the fight, when Paul Daley took an egregious cheap shot at Josh, and punched Koschek in the face after the fight. For which he was banned from the UFC for life.

I am a fan of both Robbie Lawler and Ben Askren. But dude, Lawler went fucking beastmode...that was impressive. I'm still not sure whether Lawler was out or not. The way that hand dropped was weird, but he didn't seem to be out when Askren let go, it was really weird. BUT I don't blame Herb. If I was a ref in charge of fighter's safety, and I saw that hand drop, I'd be probably jump in, too. In that split second, it looked 100% like Lawler was out. And all that went through Herb's mind is he wanted to prevent damage by stopping the fight. Can't blame him for that. He takes care of fighters because he cares.

The UFC isn’t pure sport. It’s a mix of sport and entertainment. That’s why the ref asked Anthony Smith if he wanted the fight to be over and that’s why Smith declined. That sort of thing is unheard of in almost all other pro sports and I think that’s what makes the UFC weirdly special. In other sports like soccer, players manipulate the rules to their advantage (ex: faking an injury to run the clock), anything to get the win. But in MMA, fighters know that success isn’t all about winning or becoming champion. It’s about the honour and legacy and reputation too. Just look at Conor who, despite not being the greatest fighter of all time, is by far the most successful one in UFC history. If Anthony had decided to take the win by DQ, he would’ve been champion, but his reputation and overall career would’ve taken a huge hit.

You have different types of frisbees, a heavy flat one is a driver, a medium one for (woods) and a light regular one for putting near the basket (putter). You through them like a boomerang to make them curve around doglegs. You can through over the trees or around them using the overhand technic to curve to keep it in fairway. Same rules, mulligans and things incorporated such as pars that you have to try to hit baskets.
