Rest in Peace. Christy. You gave us all so much. Condolences to your family, your band members and all your friends and community. I listened to a bit of an interview yesterday- Christy said he was a spiritual man but not a religious one. He gave us a phrase he heard at NA “ Religion is for people who want to go to Heaven. Spirituality is for people who’ve already been to Hell”. As always so deeply generous.

Wow!! Christy performing "The Green Fields of France" with Finbar Furey brought me here... four days ago... fuck this is a great song and I've been listening to Aslan almost constantly since... with only a break or two to check out Finbar as well. Fuck it I'm moving to Ireland, all the great music I love is there it seems. Best wishes for your health Christy, music and the world in general are better with you around ... Same goes for Finbar!
