Superb, another one of Puccini’s gems beautifully presented by these two who compliment each other, Freddie you look good as Pinkerton, the lanterns bobbing about made the video a real stunner, I enjoyed it so much

I'm not sure where this was performed, but this video is an important public record of the Anthony Minghella staging that has proven so durable at the Met in NYC (and that Grigorian sang in March, superb). This staging is just simply magical.

Oustanding. Two great singers who (still) haven't made it to the Met. Grrrrrrr. I saw Asmik in Suor Angelica at Salzburg this past summer and still haven't recovered from the utterly divine experience........
