Asmongold tells the story of how he became the Guild Master of the World of Warcraft guild Indestructible, starting from an Auction House snipe that initially lead to him being kicked out by his former Guild Master...hopefully the skills gained throughout the years will make the metaphorical god be able to tackle the recent drama in his special Olympuses guilds in Classic WoW...

I've been playing with the same group of people in DDO since 2007, but I've probably met hundreds, if not thousands of people in WoW and been part of at least 2 dozen raiding guilds and many more fly by night guilds that don't work out for whatever reason.

I think you have to keep in mind these stories are from Cata/MoP onwards. This type of drama I remember happening a lot in top15~ realm guilds BC, but after clawing my way past those plebs and stay at home moms/dads it was all ez raids with chill switched on raiders. Post heroic LK everyone quit and those aforementioned players moved up.

Mandi really was a royal cocky pain in the ass. If we're talking about the resto druid? Literally told me, the druid parsing rank 1 on all the fights since MoP launched, that I was wrong evaluating a resto druid applying who's healing breakdowns didn't make sense (he was coming from 10mans and Indy was 25 mans and any resto druid not braindead knows you heal the 2 sizes differently), when she was a 25man healer.

Raided with him and got to know him well and can honestly say this is half true. He's honestly a good, friendly, honest guy. But when he says he was a toxic raider, he means it. He made life absolute hell for everybody else just to parse well and really was quite selfish as a raider. The best parsers in the world aren't the rank 1s, they're the people who rank high while still contributing to the team effort. But he's a really good guy so he's annoying as shit if you were in a progression raid team with him, but when I left I found him more enjoyable because I didn't have to deal with all the strings attached to being in the same team as him during Inkarnate's lead. I watch his content much more over the last year as those feelings of annoyance over time have died down.

I raided with laty in SB on naxx progression and left within 2 weeks for the same reasons with the exception that he’s still unfriendly even when the whole raid worships him to parse well

Back in Wrath I would always run with wierd talent builds concocted by myself and try them on progression runs. My guild were fine with that because even though my dps was suboptimal I was the one not headbutting explosives goos and ghosts.

Asmon is a bit of a sociopath neckbeard but I find him funny because I see some of the shit I have done over the years in his stories. The interwebz can sometime bring out the best and worst in us.
