People seem to forget that Statues and Gargoyles are two different things and both existed even in DS1. That boss is the Op version of a Demon Statue and it shows. His chat is just 50% composed of literal morons.

It's really great to see how far asmon has come. I remember when he was so hesitant about streaming anything other than wow. You can tell each stream just how happy he is now and I truly love that. Great job asmonbald

Not to be that guy but it's not like they really made any huge advancements in the formula, I think the game is amazing don't get me wrong, but I understand why right now it's really hard for game devs to make these huge games to the standard of "something new' while not always needed it's still a step in the right direction

There's such a contrast of skill between Asmon and xQc, one understands how to fight and when to attack, the other rushes in taking every blow that comes his way.

If you go to asmons old channel he plays bloodborne without chat, no video of him, just him playing for real and giving normal commentary...his streams he acts more outlandish than he really is for obvious reasons

I just love how Asmon went from the "try not to die because of embarrassment and call the game easy at every chance he got" type of mentality in his early dark souls playthrough, to now he wants to explore the game 100% and accept all challenges that the game has to offer. While he is gradually becoming a soulsbornering fan, I have become his fan as well.

You can find whatever armor you start with in the world I'd pick for stats which i picked hero but now I'm at level 271 and only two bosses I've beaten is godrick and radahn and a few in the caves the rest had been me just killing and exploring leveling up and still have a ways to go

Runs like absolute ass for me on a 2070 super and an i7-10700K. Dunno what's going on but there's some massive fps drops here and there as well as some bad frame pacing. Also even though there are 21:9 resolutions in the game menu it doesn't actually support them. Good times.

So, I've never played a souls game before... but from what I've watched of them I feel like the mobs in the open world are significantly harder than the bosses in many regards XD

It can be for certain bosses after 20+ attempts. Not all. Frieda is much tougher than mobs. The whole game is just difficult throughout lol

Except that Xbox controllers don’t work on the pc version for some reason. I’ve seen others mention PlayStation controllers too. Pretty bad for such a high profile game. I’ve played every soulsborne game and sekiro and they’ve always had this issue. For some reason dark souls 1 worked for me. I really can’t believe they haven’t fixed it yet. It really makes me question if they even care about the pc version.
