From someone who has played everyone From Software game since Demon Souls, this game feels so different, and it feels good. I was not really hyped for the game going in, planned to play it during the weekend or something, and I friend convinced me to try co-op with him and I went from 0 to 100 with hype over the course of the first 2-3 hours of roaming around. If you ever wanted Breath of the Wild but with a Souls like skin over it, that is what this feels like, and that is not a bad thing to me.

Godrick is probably one of the coolest boss concepts i’ve seen in a soulslike game.

Interesting thing imo is that Asmon has this character that is a guy that is really confidend in himself but kinda sucks at games, but at the same time he is really good, comparing Asmon playing this to some other streamers, even so hardcore streamers of the fps genre, that basically just bitch and moan at everything, while Asmon just goes there and works hard and beats shit. Pretty cool.

i started watching asmon seriously when he started ds1 and the amount that hes improved in terms of watchability in these games is amazing, amd having mconnnel there makes it just that much better

I used the rusty anchor all the way up until Altus plateau. It does not suck at all, I think it's highly underrated. Also it looks sick hitting someone with the anchor. The stagger on it is nuts. I beat Margit, renalla, red wold of radagon and Godrick first try with that thing. I don't use any magic or even ashes and it was honestly not hard. I have a harder time with the multiple boss fights like the 3 putrid chrystallians.

At the 6:00 mark, there is a dungeon that does require you to jump down the hole after raising the lift. It took me forever to figure it out. Asmon was truly ahead of his time here.
