the thin prongs on that little tool allowed me to push the chocolate to the edges of the mold, I would’ve done the same process with a little spoon, just wouldn’t have been able to press the chocolate to the bottom as easy. ☺️

Hey girl! I mention it quickly in the video, but I truthfully don’t think this recipe is fully perfected just yet, but I can give you what I did! I would try to make some tweaks with the length of mixing so that the batter isn’t overdeveloped. 2½ cups all-purpose flour 2¼ tsp baking powder ¾ tsp salt 1⅔ cups granulated sugar ¾ cup unsalted butter room temperature 3 large eggs room temperature 1 Tbsp vanilla (and an extra splash lol) 1 cup buttermilk (I used one tablespoon of lemon juice in 1 cup of milk as a substitute) It’ll be 350 degree F for 30 minutes (if distributed into two pans). Cream the butter (room temp or cooled/melted) and sugar together for 3 minutes, and then once it’s all combined, add in the vanilla and eggs (one at a time). You can then sift in the rest of the dry ingredients in small portions, and add the buttermilk slowly as you go. Just make sure you don’t over mix the mixture (some lumps and bumps are okay) once the flour is in because the gluten can make the cake too dense if overmixed. 👍🏻👍🏻🧡
