This Bible is the one my husband found in a thrift shop. The first time I opened it a couple years ago, I knew I would be making a video of just this Bible. It is deliciously crinkly from water damage that was done to it before we owned it. I am often found turning the pages without even reading, just to hear the crinkles. And I read it sometimes too. LOL. Enjoy the ambiance and the deep crackly crinkles.

I use to love the sound Bible pages made when when I was a child I remember I would just sit and flip through the pages and make the crinkly sounds. I guess I've always been a true asmr-tist at heart ❤

I have a different faith, but the sound of bible pages is very soothing. Funny thing, at work whenever I come across very fine carbon copy paper, I call them "bible pages". The term stuck and now most of my colleagues use the term too. Although the sound of CC paper isn't quite as delicious as the real thing 😊 This is a wonderful video, thank you for making it and sharing it with us 💜🙏

And yet another reason to love the Bible! Really though, these pages are wonderfully crinkly! It kind of takes me back to your earlier studying videos. Such a beautiful ambiance too with the candle. I recently purchased a similar candle holder from an antique shop, and hope to feature it soon! ☺️

I always thought Bible pages were so relaxing to listen to. And I love the little markers on the edge of the pages - that must make it way easier to get to where you need to be when looking for a passage.

Rebecca! The crinkly sounds are incredible! What a great idea using the Bible. They have the thin pages similar to newspaper type paper. Very soft and smooth. Perfect for relaxing my brain. I love it🥰❤💕❤💕💤💤

Hey Rebecca ! I know it's been a while. Been having medical issues (abcess) as usual and my mother (water in her lungs) as well. I think God or my father are watching over us. The end of 2021 wasn't good for me and 2022 been bad as well for me so far. Cannot wait until all those medical problems ends. Didn't have that before. I really don't know what is going on. Anyways ... we are good and doing better now 😊 What an amazing video. I ALWAYS loved the sounds of the pages of the Bible. This thin and crinkly paper gives me goosebumps all over 🤣🤣🤣 Thank you Rebecca for all your hard work and for all the time you spend for making those amazing videos. I have got to show you some of the beautiful things my mother has made over the years, she’s always sewn my little dresses as a child as well as made holiday dresses and outfits for my daughter so we always had one of a kind things to wear growing up. She has hand sewn as well as crocheted beautiful afghans and blankets for my daughter and so much more. She and I both have recently gotten into junk journaling but oh you should see some of the beautiful junk journals she’s created. I plan to do some flip through videos. My mama has always been so crafty and specula things like that I want to keep and pass on to my daughter who is now 26yrs and will have her own little ones someday to pass those treasures down too. Your channel is exactly how I would have a channel if I was talented enough to do ASMR. I’ve created a little ASMR channel but it’s been a couple years doing anything over there. Just as I had started it breast cancer hit me so that took sometime away from this channel as well but you my dear friend inspire me so very much and I am honored to have you as a friend and someone I can chat with. 💕 I do hope someday we can plan a hang out. I just know your home and you yourself is just as loving and cozy as your channel and videos are.

How wonderful your mother sounds. Artistic to the bone. My mother was too. It was difficult for me to aspire to doing anything that would come close to her talent. I didn’t try much as a child. My day came when I got to open up my gift shop. Then I found out my talent lay with decorating. I was never going to paint like she did. Or play an instrument. You have so many wonderful keepsakes! I have my mom‘s art. You are probably aware that she is passed away. It would be interesting to see all of your beautiful journals. I’m sorry that you gave up on your channel and especially your reason for it. That is some harsh reality that life dished up to you. It would be hard to make my videos look so lovely if there was not some truth to it. But honestly, it’s still not as Idealic as I represent and put forth. The things that I talk about and say are true but what I do with my time and how I live is a bit more lazy than my videos show. I don’t sit around making crafts very often. I don’t bake very often. In fact, I don’t cook all that often either. But when I do, I really do it. Always turns out good. And my love ones are happy. 😂 I am far more noisy and banging and clanging than my videos show. But for the most part I am a gentle soul. Starting my channel slowed me down as I started to learn to hear what I was doing. So it all depends on whether I’m in a hurry or not. My children say that I am mostly like my videos but not completely. 😂 My question for you is, are you well enough now to restart your channel? If so, what stops you from picking it up again?

Oh yes, of course! The whole Bible is the story and drama of God and His chosen people. His final return to restore them to Himself is the most exciting part in Revelations.

As a secular Israeli Jewish person, I have a bit of knowledge about the old testament (as this is what being taught at Jewish schools in Israel. Of course religion studies are different for people of other religions), but not much knowledge about the Bible. One can study about Christianity or other religions at university if they wish. Although I find it very interesting, I never looked into this field. Nevertheless, It's never too late to learn something new!:) Thank you for broadening my knowledge along with great sounds!:)

Is that a 1984 version NIV bible? If so your husband made a good find, those are some very well-loved bibles. The later revisions of the NIV were never as good as the 1984 version. It's a bible that anyone can read and enjoy without worrying they cannot understand it. 😇 (be careful with those alphabetical page tabs, they fall off easily.)
