Audio engineer here. These mics (Heil PR40) are actually END-address rather than SIDE-address, which means you want to be speaking into the "top" (pointing at you lengthwise) rather than the side, unlike with other similar-looking microphones. It's counter-intuitive, and may result in a less pleasing visual aesthetic, but they are very good sounding mics.

Thomas Sowell is interesting and obviously a very intellectual individual, but his works honestly read like mental gymnastics to justify neoliberalism's excesses, while advocating for something without even addressing the power dynamics that takes his beloved "free" market system and turns into what we see today.

People need to chill out a bit honestly. I don't think she's "going off the rails" necessarily. Yes you can say she stopped taking her meds, rich white girl, etc, and those things may be contributing to her thinking differently somewhat, but with everything happening in Canada with the gov't and covid, I can understand why she is. It's obvious that the majority of people that watch her including me lean left, and that's okay. She just seems like she's exploring herself politically. Should she read stuff from both sides? Yes.
