Quite agree! I know Maria doesn't take on sponsors lightly, and wouldn't partner with just any product and I appreciate the thought and consideration before taking on one. That said, if Maria started a Patreon - even something simple $1 a month for support - she'd get waay more money than what she'd get in a single sponsor video. I respect her decision not to do that though. I just like to see her get something back for all she gives.

If anyone deserves to be sponsored, it's Maria. She puts the most effort into her videos of any KZfaqr I've followed and she's the only one that I can say has changed and helped me personally. I don't know what I'd do without her videos, truly. When I feel crippled by anxiety, I listen to her videos. I'd pay for them if they weren't on KZfaq and I'll always support her. The peace of mind she's given me is priceless and I'm glad she getting support from brands.

I seriously looked into Blue Apron after this, with a family of 2, and loved the idea of healthier foods and lifestyle. BUT it's only 3 meals a week!! So on top of spending $240 a month on Blue Apron, I'd still have to go to the grocery store for 16 more meals a month! Not logical! Love the idea, but the company needs to think about how little 3 meals a week really is. I loved the video though, Maria! As always! Beautiful job, and congrats on the sponsor ❤️

My advice - find a nice cookbook - doesn't have to be super fancy or critically acclaimed ; just one that interests you, inspires you and contains a few good recipes to build on, and it'll be a better investment than any meal box service :) trust me ... I have a room full of the things :o

bondomu I dislike sponsored videos because most of the time, the review is payed for. The person will go on and on about how great the product is and when it arrived it's utter shit. It can be a slippery slope. The thing I love and respect about Maria is her honesty and how she's upfront about her sponsorships. Look at Toni Bamboni who lately all his "best asmr video evers" are nothing but commercials. Yet he's constantly pushing his PayPal, and patreon crying on camera about how he has no money and that will affect the channel.

The ASMR community is much nicer about a sponsored video than the beauty and makeup community. Think I'll try this recipe though. After I've woke from my coma I've been put in by Marias voice and her saying cous cous.

Right?! The good channels work hard and deserve that paper! But I think it might be more specifically Maria's community. 99% of the other ASMR channels are...interesting...in general. Those comments look more like cam-girls sites rather than "supportive" lol.

amiesparkle00 💪🏻💪🏻 I actually feel pretty lucky that Maria was coincidentally the my first ASMR video, I don't think I would have "gotten" it if I saw the other stuff first. Don't get me wrong, if those mouth sounds and moaning are someone's thing, go for it!! Who doesn't like a little sexual content from time to time! I just wish it wasn't so entangled with ASMR in general - that's how I get hot underage girls licking fake ears on my "recommended" home feed lolol

I think there is absolutely no reason to critize Masha for accepting sponsorship because so many others do it all the time - the only difference is that gentlewhispering is honest and really serious about it which I appreciate. A lot of others present an object of advertisement in every single video but don't talk about it openly. Sometimes I really feel a bit tired with all of those so called " must have" teas, cosmetics, monthly boxes, hand bags, electric cigarettes, puppy foods, computer games, fashion items, chocolates, pieces of jewelery, toys, snacks, tangle whatsoevers....BUT it simply achieves the opposite effect in me - no desperate urge to purchase any of it, rather feeling bored and slightly amused sometimes. Gentlewhispering, I love your cooking videos in blue, yellow, red or chequered aprons! Big hugs for you and your dedicated and thanks that you give the community so much for free!

I will literally watch anything Maria makes as long as she's happy and doing what she loves. Sponsored videos or not, I will support her endeavors to create content because she enjoys it and deserves that much for all she gives us for free.

I've heard good things about BlueApron but this is the first time I've actually seen any of the ingredients. Looks very delicious. Too bad the service isn't available in Canada. And I have to agree, oddly satisfying to watch and listen to.

ThatManitobaGuy I disagree, all of these ingredients are available from local farms through farmers markets and even delivery services, which are a lot more fresh than this, and a lot cheaper. In all, this only really works for people who don't know how to cook, and wants to learn how easily.

Rewatching all of Maria’s cooking videos for the first time in ages, I’d forgotten how good they are ❤️ The crinkly box insulation and packaging of the ‘broosel’ sprouts (I love how Maria pronounces it) and couscous makes me insanely tingly. I’d also forgotten how beautiful her engagement ring is.

Great marketing move Blue Apron. The ASMR community is an excellent untapped market. I have tried so many foods, products, etc. because I learned of them in ASMR videos. Even better, many tingle heads watch home shopping channels for unintentional ASMR so the sponsored content is perfect for us.

Please make more sponsored videos with cool/nice/beautiful stuff please! It warms me to see you doing well while providing such a valuable and wonderful service for (almost, (soon!) ) 1million people around the world. I will say, I think you have a PERFECT balance of commercialisation and focus on content/ASMR effect in this video. It is not off putting at all, don't listen to the cry babies that might say mean things etc... I'd love to see you do some cosmetics/care product videos, tech item unboxing, jewelry showcase etc.... P.s. Almost died of happiness/tingles at 'couscous'.. :-)

I really don't mind when Maria does sponsored videos, I still get relaxed either way (bc she's incredible) it doesn't matter what she talks about or does & I don't know why it bothers so many people. She's taking opportunities for herself & it's her channel and quite frankly if she wants to do a sponsor she should be able to do one

I love all your videos, but these are my favorite. Your tender description of everything and gentle movements as you cook are both relaxing and pleasing to the eye.
