So a friend of mine told me once that if you have oily skin here's a life hack. Take the back of your hand and press it to the oily parts and redistribute the oil. I've always had an oily forehead and eyelids. She said one of the driest parts of your body is the back of your hands. Take the back of your hand, press it on the oil and maybe rub just a little and it will absorb the excess and then you can even take you hand afterwards and put it to dry spots on your face or wherever. She explained that you don't want to wash it off with soap or anything that will strip too much of the oil off because the reason your body is producing more oil there is because it thinks that it's dry, therefore it produces more. If you strip it off it actually makes it worse. But the back of the hand won't take too much, just enough to remove the shine. Also, your natural oil is the most hypoallergenic thing you can use to lotion your hands with. Two birds one stone. After doing this for a while, my forehead actually quit over producing oils because I wasn't stripping the oil off. My hands looked great and my forehead's water barrier healed up and it's been a life changer for my skin!
