My poem, which Dawn found in a library book, is inspired by those of you who might struggle with perfectionism. You don't need to try so hard to be perfect. Don't forget that there's value in fracture. There's beauty in being inherently flawed, like an exploding supernova. You were born so bright, like the stars we descend from. You already have brilliance within you. It’s been quite some time since I’ve been listening to your audios. I hesitate to comment cause I’m not really good with words. But I wanted to let you know that you really helped me(and still are) through tough times. It’s funny how I can’t find comfort in people around me. But you, Dawn, I bet you have a weight of life on your shoulders and lots to deal with. Yet you put your mic and hit the record just to provide us with such comforting and reassuring words that feel like a hug. Listening to your audios, either I cry or I sleep with a smile on my face. Your voice is so gentle and feathery followed by your heartfelt words, it brings me so much comfort. As much as I explained, I could not really describe how big your role is in my life. You are my savior and my safe space. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I’m more grateful to you than you’ll never know. I’m eternally grateful. Now here I am waiting for the bus and writing this, literally tearing up. Dawn, you made me ruin my makeup. Stay safe and happy. I love you🤍
