How refreshing to see someone openly talk about their flaws without being mean to yourself. I like to think that videos like these remind people to feel a sense of gratitude towards the things they do for themselves. As well as get a good nights sleep 😂

To better ourselves, we have to learn to sit in the gray. We see our flaws, we show compassion for ourselves for having them, and then we put the work in to get our needs met in a more effective way. Seeing our mistakes without beating ourselves up, and accepting ourselves while still holding ourselves accountable. It's difficult to learn but it's worth it. Our days don't have to be as hard as they are.

I gotta say that the last part where you talked about saying stuff wrong or stuff that seemed weird for you or your mind and whatever... is SO SO relatable. To this day tbh I still have the urge to let people know if I have said something wrong to them in a part of a conversation and such, and even I just profusely apologize about it sometimes too and just think about lots of scenarios in my mind... like "will they turn my back on me?" or "will they no longer talk to me after that thing i said?".. Thought that I was just the only one that could relate, but I guess I'm not alone on this... glad that you can relate on this too Bekah. Thanks for the video and for the hugs - the squeeeze parts gave me the most smiles... 😊❤

Yeah I think that it i had met my boyfriend too soon I'd still have been a huge mess and it wouldn't have worked out. It was good that we met when we did. Life is a lot happier now :) To clarify, not because I'm in a relationship. I've been in relationships before and it didn't make me not depressed. But after years of therapy, and now I have so many friends after years of loneliness... I am much more whole now and I can share myself with people who I care about who care about me... It took some time and work but every time I would get very low, I'd try to remind myself that life will get better. I just have to be around to see it! Life will shift. It's inevitable. Everything will be okay :)

I feel like I’m going to need more of your comforting for awhile… Someone I literally just met, we were talking for awhile and things were going well, and learned she has a sort of fling going on… Apparently they may go on some date but idk. I just need to probably feel appreciated, and cared for now. That's because there is a large group of people who have experienced this stuff (including my past self) and there's not a lot of content made for them. I focus my mental health videos on people who are in the same position I used to be. All of the affirmations videos I had access to at that time were not relatable to me, so I make videos that would have been helpful for me then. So, it is made for an emotional wreck of a person. I'm genuinely really glad you don't relate to it! It's not fun lol 😅
