I'm a huge Keanu Reeves/John Wick fan. Even before starting my channel, the first time I saw John Wick: Chapter 2 I knew I wanted to do this video one day. It was a bit bigger of an undertaking than I originally anticipated, with weeks of preparation before I even got to filming. I had a really fun time trying to strike the balance of an action style theme with true asmr, and hopefully you can have a fun time geeking out over John Wick with me. 💛
Safety disclaimers: I had the owner of the firearms with me the entire time for guidance and handling instruction. The owner also wrote all of the technical script bits for me. Safety checks were made THROUGHOUT the process. Nothing was ever loaded.
This video is intended to be relaxing and entertaining (as well as a huge fangirl moment) and nothing more. The items used were because I wanted to stay true to the nature of the John Wick franchise, they are not toys and this video is in no way intended to portray them as such. Rest well friends. ✌🏻

I'm getting a TON of requests for a pt 2- and I would reallllly love to do a 'dessert 😏' section video. But holy mother the knives John Wick uses in the films are EXPENSIVE. I come back to this one every once in a while. This one has been my introduction to your channel. Great work! And an absolute stellar quality. As knifes go, maybe the Cold Steel Shop has some good ones. A good Bowie knife with a black finish might look nice in the spotlight.

Hey! One knife of particular interest might be the german KM2000. Its the standard issue army knife and would cost around 180$ + Shipping. Certainly not a cheap knife but a very cool one nonetheless.

The KA-BAR TDI is usually under $80 and sees common use in law enforcement. It's intended use case is to defend against attacks against stealing a holstered sidearm. Trapping the attackers hands against the theft and then using the knife in the off hand to slash in order to inhibit future attacks. It is similar in concept and practice to a karambit, with the branding of a old war company to back it up (the original KA-BAR combat knife was adopted for use by the US Marine Corps in 1942). In your video, you could even use the TDI in a similar vein you used the 365 and 320 being from the same make (introducing the original KA BAR as for someone with old fashioned taste). Regardless of what you choose, I'm sure it would be great. The quality of this video is outstanding, so I am sure any sequel would be similiar!

As a firearm enthusiast (and daily carrier of such), I am impressed. Of the firearms shown, I have direct personal experience with at least 3 of them (and similar examples of the others). Great careful and deliberate handling. Guns are fun, and useful in certain situations, but are not toys, and you emphasize both aspects therefore quite well - the deadly and the delightful - and that one should never confuse the two. If you are taking requests, I would ask for a revolver and lever action rifle sommelier version, with emphasis on relative guns' and cartridges' power versus ease of use. By the way, subscribing based on this video alone. I have no idea if your style will even help my insomnia - this one didn't, I was paying too much attention to the handing details! 😅

I've been a gunsmith since 2013 and started listening to ASMR in 2015. This is one of the few gun ASMR videos on KZfaq that is ASMR in it's entirety without sacrificing safety or knowledge of the topic and items being covered. You've bridged both worlds together seamlessly and I can't thank you enough for creating another ASMR masterpiece for me to add to my sleep playlist.

@@the404error7 I went through 2 different places. First was Penn Foster in Pennsylvania which was an online curriculum where they mail you a ton of stuff in the mail for online self paced courses and the other was at the Colorado School of Trades when I lived out that way years ago. I highly recommend doing an online one as a taste test to see if it's what you really want to do or if you just want to keep it a hobby, and it cost less than a school/college you physically attend like the second one. If you're all in though, the Colorado School of Trades is the gold standard in Gunsmith education.

I was a Small Arms repairman in the Army a I gotta say you did amazing. Usually I use ASMR to help me sleep but this video I just cant. On one hand this video is very calming. However, this video is so packed with so much good (and suprisingly accurate) knowledge on firearms that I don't want to nod off because I'm just that impressed. Add that with your safe handling of the equipment and I gotta say you won me over. Keep up the good work and you've definitely got a new subscriber. Thank you and good job.

Even aside from how cool I find this character and your voice tone here, which is very... I greatly appreciate that you used proper trigger discipline, and had someone knowledgeable there to help you be as safe as possible. You didn't even point it at the camera standing in for the viewer. Guns definitely are not toys, and I think you have presented this video responsibly while still capturing the nature of the franchise.

I've never really enjoyed this particular type of ASMR. But I watched to the end because of the production quality. This was masterfully done. You handle firearms well, your presentation and research absolutely shine, and as I'm sure many gun nerds will agree, any little thing will drive us nuts if done incorrectly. Well done. This is a masterpiece of asmr roleplay Mira, really shows the time and effort you put into your vids! Idk if you've ever watched the scene from the film 'Taxi Driver' when Robert DeNiro buys some blackmarket weapons, but years ago I noticed in the comments how many people found it to be very relaxing lol, of course I didn't know about asmr then but it had the same effect on me. I love that there's finally someone doing a video like this with actual knowledge of what the hell they are talking about instead of people pretending to know and not even taking 2 minutes to look it up. No matter what you think about the use of guns it can't be denied they are fascinating pieces of machinery that this video displays amazingly on top of being super relaxing too which keeps you right in the moment from beginning to end. Great job. My only slight criticism is it doesn't work as an ASMR sleep aid video, I'm too engaged to even think about sleeping :P

I have been listening to a variety of ASMR for years. This is by far one of my all time favorites. Very well written dialogue, excellent acting, exemplary attention to detail and safety. Can you please please please make more of these? P.S. the soft sounds at the end with no speaking, puts me to sleep every single time.

I love that you put the homework in on this and knew names, manufacturers, nomenclature, capacities, caliber, etc. From a former armorer, current enthusiast, and Joh Wick fan boy, I'm thoroughly impressed! Even the safety procedures of clearing before handling were followed. Fantastic video, as per usual. I'm loving it!

Great video! Honestly this scene in the movie felt ASMR-like to me, great to see someone take it the whole way. Also, wow your knowledge of firearm and firearm safety was awesome too. Was interesting to see and listen to as well. Thanks!
