Tonight is the first session of our Manga Book Club! We will be chatting about the Manga called ⚫ GANTZ ⚫ by Hiroya Oku! I have read the first 3 volumes and I would love to share with you some of my thoughts, theories and highlights of the story so far in ASMR style! Also, I would love to hear your thoughts too! What is ASMR?
ASMR stands for autonomous sensory meridian response, a biological reaction that some people may experience when they hear, see, or feel certain satisfying triggers such as whispering, tapping, brushing, or typing. It is best known for causing tingly sensations, relaxation and comfortable feelings.
Because of this, many people use ASMR as a way to help relax and soothe their mind and bodies before falling asleep. It can be used for meditation, and sound therapy and is a natural sleep aid. I watch ASMR every night to fall asleep - and several times throughout the day as a part of my self-care practice to keep my body, mind & spirit healthy and balanced.

I hope so far you haven’t been too turned off or shocked by this manga because off putting imagery and lots of inappropriate scenes happen and things quickly go from a 10 to 100! I hope you keep reading GANTZ and don’t give up on the protagonist Kei Kurono. At the beginning he starts out as a bastard jerk but the whole appeal of his character is the personal growth he has throughout the story.

On the topic of basketball manga, the omnibuses of Kuroko's are easily available both in paperback and Kindle. Each omnibus is two volumes (30 volumes in total). Most of the early volumes of Slam Dunk are next to impossible to find. I only have 1, 2, 5, 7, and 9. But the later volumes are more readily available (31 in total).

You really like japanese culture. Have you ever think learn japanese? I'm currently playing the japanese version of Pokémon red and being able to understand the original does everything make more sense. Give it a try, a new world will open to you.

Omigosh your playing Pokemon Red Japanese version reminded me of when my Dad purchased me the Japanese version of Pokemon Gold when I was about 11. I had nooooo idea what was going on lol! I think i got stuck on the part after the Miltank gym when you are supposed to go find a watering can or something like that? To water the Sudowoodo? Btw you downplayed it a bit. There is A LOT of violence and A LOT of nudity. Legit one of the monsters is an amalgamation of naked women.
