What does ASMR stand for?
Autonomous

Response
What IS ASMR?
A feeling of well-being combined with a tingling sensation in the scalp and down the back of the neck, as experienced by some people in response to a specific gentle stimulus.
Examples of different ways to experience ASMR~
🧠Physical ASMR
Feeling calm, sleepy, tingly or satisfied while having your hair brushed/styled/touched, getting your forehead rubbed or your face touched softly while getting makeup applied. Someone softly tracing upon your back.
🗣Auditory ASMR
Feeling calm, sleepy, tingly or satisfied while listening to a particular sound that triggers you. There are several different sounds that may trigger this feeling; such as a whispered voice, typing on a keyboard, water swishing sounds, listening to someone write, turn pages in a book, tap on objects, etc.
👁Visual ASMR
Feeling calm, sleepy, tingly or satisfied while observing someone create art, slice foods, carve soap, wood, candles, trace over shapes/letters with their finger or a pointer etc.

I hope you enjoy this video. ❤️ A little story: ~When I first started watching asmr, back in 2011? 🤔 ~the only videos that I wanted to watch were either typing with no talking OR page turning with no talking. It was kinda hard back then to find a long video with one of my two favorite triggers without any talking. Soooo, this video is dedicated to that person out there looking for something like that. I hope it finds you and helps you sleep well. 💤💤💤

That's around when I started watching ASMR as well, and I looked for the same types of videos with page turning (still do)! Since then, I'm a huge fan of typing as well, for it was you who made me realize how relaxing that is as well!

Thank you sooo much I've been looking for this sound. It always relaxed me when I was kid. I used to think I was weird because as soon as I'd hear pages being turned or my dog crunching its food it would almost knock me out right there.

@@beccaluvsblue It’s true, my aunt works at a big graphics printing company and used to routinely bring us all kinds of random stuff when we were kids (because any time there was even a small printing error they had to discard the whole batch) and I too LOVED the various smells and idek why! I also like the smell of gasoline as long as it’s not overwhelming. And if you like that then you definitely don’t know what you’re missing when it comes to the smell of leaded 110+ high octane racing fuel! ⛽️ Every racer pretty much agrees it smells sweet and wonderful

@@Syclone0044 I'm the same way lol 😆 I even like the smell of someone smoking a cigarette (not how it smells when it's embedded in clothes and stuff, but when someone is actively smoking near me). I used to anyway, lately it just hits me every once in a while.

Those old issues of "Interview" magazine are collector items, never throw them out. For those who don't know it was created by Pop Artist Andy Warhol & British Journalist John Wilcock in 1969. It was rumored it was going to shut down forever late last year, but it looks like a new owner will keep the magazine running.

In kindergarten, when ever the teacher would turn the page and read in a quiet voice it would make me fall asleep and when ever someone crumpled paper I would get a warm feeling in my chest (tingles) 😂 now the teachers won’t stop screaming @ us lmao

It seems the paper of this magazine was made for Asmr. Your crinkle on the center part almost kills me each time! I haven't bought any magazine like this one since a few years. You always got more advertising pages than actual content, but the interviews and articles were so awesome that you kept buying it. Now with the Internet, it is more and more difficult to survive for printed publications, even if this pricing model still dominates on the net. There is some serious celebrities on the covers you chose... The one with Sam Shepard reminded me how much my mother had a big crush on him, haha! She must have watched some scenes of Baby Boom a thousand times. Thank you for bringing up so many good memories and also for having exercised your wise censorship!

The page turning sounds are so wonderful! If this video doesn't help people sleep, nothing will! Additionally, sometimes when I read, I like to put on a paper sounds video in the background to help me relax. For years, I'd been using an old long ASMR page turning video by a different ASMRtist, but now this one is going to replace it as my go-to video for relaxation. This is my new favorite page turning video. I think the Interview magazines make some of the best paper sounds of any I've seen. Thanks for this wonderful video, Primie Prim Prim!

After more than a year the vintage magazines are finally back and the video is 6 times longer. These pages sound different from books, it's probably because the material is different. I mean it's still paper but it feels different. This video is great for background when doing something where you have to concentrate and are unable of paying attention to what is being said.

This was 1 hour, 6 minutes & 14 seconds of supreme relaxation and tingly goodness! Put this on at bedtime and it's "Sweep me away, Sandman!" 😊😴💤 Many thanks, Prim, this page turning video was absolutely amazing & so effective! Perhaps too effective since I'm really gonna need to watch it again so I can pay more attention to all the pages of the magazines because what I did see looked interesting, lol. It's astonishing how some of our brains give us that tingle hearing those pages between fingers and the crinkle. If I am in a doctors office & a magazine is being gone through by a patient I get them & drift off to sleep .

Even though I've already commented on this, I must say some more! I put this video on last night while I was reading, and I have to say, it is the most relaxing ASMR video I've ever experienced. This video is so relaxing that it made me want to just keep reading and listen to the page turning sounds in the background, and do nothing else, lol! This video is an eye opening, or should I say ear opening experience allowing me to discover how effective page turning videos are. This is much more relaxing than I anticipated. When I read that there is no talking, I wondered how it would be since I am a huge fan of your soft whispered voice which is the best trigger for relaxation, but this page turning has a quiet atmosphere and a relaxed sound. I really like this video. It is a very nice idea for a change in the routine.

Ugh, I can't tolerate finger licking 😐. The sound in my ear is disgusting and distracting, same as with talking. I can't sleep with someone talking in my ear, it's disturbing. This sounds here are the best

Yes! Its called asmr if you look it up it will give you more detailed info, but basically its a sensation that runs from ur head to your thighs usually caused by a reaction of sound its actually quite interesting to me :)

This was the time when I discovered sounds like page turning were relaxing me so much. I was abroad staying with mom and sis in the same hotel room. We were on a a city trip walking around all day so by the end of the evening we were so tired. By the time it was bed time my mom and sis would read a magazine in bed and flip through the pages and whisper to each other. It was so relaxing.
