When I get panic attacks, I can hardly breathe, and sometimes it makes me lightheaded, and I’ll fall, and I won’t be able to stand for a bit, and I’ll just silently cry, as I try to stand up.. this makes me feel so much better. I could feel the panic surging through my chest, and I knew what was going to happen, and so I just tried to tell myself that it was just gonna happen and I shouldn’t try to fight it, and then I saw this, scrolling through. This helped so much.. I feel calm, and secure, and loved, and okay.

Same happens to me. I just fall or lay on the floor. Cant stand and cant feel my legs at that time 😔☹.

I always think I soon can't breathe anymore. It starts with the thought, oh man I could have swallowed or breathed in an insect or something that landed in my lungs, right after I feel something uncomfortable in my chest, throath... And then I get into the panic attack. It's so bad, I suffer from this at least once in 4 months, I know it doesn't sound much, but I said AT LEAST🥺😞💔

God I need a break i try my best not to but it’s so difficult when ur just looking for reassurance that you’re not gonna die because u feel a pain in ur chest and discover u have heart disease, as soon as I feel a slight change in my breathing, body, anything I automatically think I’m dying. It’s extremely hard to live everyday thinking your going to die and I don’t think people realise how difficult it is. I feel like people don’t take it seriously and think I’m just over exaggerating but when I say to someone I think I’m dying or I can’t breathe I really do think that I am. And on top of that all I have anxiety attacks all week long and at least 4 panic attacks a week. It is so so hard.

Amy Pattison fuck i can’t say mine hypochondriasis is as bad as yours, i don’t get panic attacks as much as you do, maybe a couple bad ones a month. what helps me is just trying to convince myself that i’m not dying, i’m not dying because i know for a fact that i always panic. i analyze everything that’s happening and try to meditate, concentrating on how my body actually feels. it helps, but sometimes i really have to go talk to someone, just in case i actually am dying. that way, they can call 911 and no matter what’s happening i’ll probably live. i hope you get better, this shit isn’t fun, it isn’t easily preventable either. good luck and i hope you have great day♥️

These are not panic attacks you are suffering from. You created the problem by waiting till last minute to handle your responsibilities. People have real panic attacks and most come out of no where and are over random menial issues. What you experiencing is fear of procrastination. People use the words anxiety and depression so loosely and as a copout. Learn the difference and if you really have panic attacks you would know by how devastating and crippling they are! You not do an assignment for school is a problem you created and I highly doubt what your experiencing is a panic attack! #truth

Bella Trent, Obviously you don't know me but, I suffer from anxiety, depression, obsessive and anger disorders. I developed these from having cancer as a baby. I for years had panic attacks daily as well. I've learned over the years how to control my issues with medication and technics, like breathing, counting and motivation. I hope this in some way may help you and maybe give you some ideas on what you can do to get control of this devastating disorder.

Gwen. Thank you for this. You have no idea how much I appreciate this video. I'm 38 weeks and 2 days pregnant and have had such a horrible time. I got diagnosed with high blood pressure, diabetes, anemia, possible preeclampsia, and have had heightened anxiety and panic attacks this entire pregnancy. On top of that I'm being induced in 5 days. My delivery with my first child was traumatic (drunk anesthesiologist and biased judgmental doctor). So I'm terrified. I cant even explain how grateful I am for this video. You should be proud of all your videos, but especially this one.

Yall ever feel like theres something in your throat and you cant get it out, so you keep trying and can literally feel it blocking your airway? I go so far to try and get it out that I end up hurting my throat and actually messing it up. This helped me so much 💛💛!

I tested positive for covid today (the South African strain) and I’ve never felt like this before. My heart is beating at 127bpms and I can feel it in my headache. I’m so scared I’m having such difficulty breathing and my body is aching and I’m just so scared. Thanks Gwen for being here for me xx

If you are having a panic/anxiety attack Just know that I love you and I wish I could just give you a hug. I used to think a hug was just a clique thing, but a hug really helps, I suggest you hug a pillow and just love the pillow and squeeze the pillow if you’d like. You can do anything, as long as it isn’t hurting anyone, and it helps you🥰🥰hope I helped

Broke up with an emotionally abusive ex girlfriend of mine recently and I started missing her tonight. I even wanted to reach out to her. But I remembered all the toxic terrible things she would do and say and I just ended up feeling soooo stressed and jumbled. Thank you so much for this. I had a panic attack at school out of absolutely no where, I started crying but luckily no one saw me. My gym teacher helped me in the locker room (she’s a woman I’m a girl don’t worry!) but she really helped. So thank you for this video it really helps❤️

I really needed this video, I’m having major anxiety at the moment because my exam results are coming out today and I am terrified because I don’t want to let my parents down. They have high expectations but I struggled last year due to my mental health with lockdown and online school. But this video really helped so thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️

i had a panic attack because of the virus that’s been spreading from china, and i have a strong fear of the apocalypse. at the beginning of this video my heart was beating out of my chest and tears were streaming down my cheeks, and ten minutes in i felt calm, relaxed and safe, thank you gwen❤️

Gwen, Great video and calming whispers! I've read through some of the comments and wish people understood what REAL panic attacks were. People use words like anxiety, depression and panic attacks as crutches. A lot of people have legit mental health problems and I think this video can be a GREAT help to people who have real panic attacks. Thank you for being you and a great artist! This helped a lot, Ik this is a year late but I forgot to turn assignments in that were due on Friday. It’s Monday and they restricted everything so I cannot turn in any assignments so I automatically think I’m gonna flunk and get held back and burst into panic. I now feel way better, I’m calling my school tomorrow and explaining why, thank you!

I don't think I have panic attacks, but a lot of the time I feel like I'm on the brink of one. I get nauseous, shaky, and overwhelmed, but I don't get shortness of breath. In fact, it's the complete opposite, like breathing is too much effort. It feels like a weight has been placed on my chest, and when I lie down I feel my chest sink as my lungs deflate and then I just can't breathe for like ten seconds before I get dizzy and have to force myself to breathe again. I think this has something to do with my anxiety, but I'm not sure. Idk it do be like that sometimes

It was atleast 3 in the morning and i couldn't sleep. I had to wake up for my online classes at 8 am so i was panicking. I atleast had about 7-10 panick attacks in bed at night and was on the verge of crying. I even texted my mom saying that i had been panicking. She simply came over to my room and helped me calm down. What you are reading is what this 12 year old had to deal with last night (me) it is curently 8 am and im getting ready for online class. Wish me luck i only had 4 hours of sleep..
