I never made on of these on afro/curly/frizzy hair before, but a few months back, some of you asked for one. And to be honest, this was really fun. I hope you enjoy this one as much as the straight haired ones.

Afro hair is a good opportunity to use a spray bottle for sounds! Our hair is much more manageable hydrated.

When working with Afro hair always start with misting the hair. Follow with a leave in conditioner/detangler. Afro hair isn't difficult. You just need to know what you're doing. A wooden pick or comb is also ideal for Afro hair than plastic.

Textured hair and thick curly hair makes the best scalp head asmr sounds across the board. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼💜💜💜 you may want to use a continuous spray bottle to hydrate her locks, it helps to manage it for sectioning and parting.

Really appreciate the effort in making this diversity I see you did a bit of research 👏🏼 (maybe not a lot) but an attempt was made and you are the only asmr artist who isn't black that combs the hair gently. 7.5/10 an effort was made 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼

This is so soothing and relaxing the hair needs water and conditioner gel and use a detangling brush and start from the brushing from the ends of the hair to the root until you can brush through all of the hair 😊❤

as a black person i was excited to see this recommended to me but some minutes in i got a little uncomfy, not bc she was touching the hair but some of the stuff she was saying. I think it’s fair to say she still has some things to learn about black people and their hair (our scalp is not the same color as our hair lmao and it’s lighter than our skin) I do see she’s from a european tho and may not know these things but maybe she’ll realize one day who knows. i did get to focus on just the hair and it felt like someone was playing w my own afro which was nice :3

@@monsterareyna7945 I noticed that too because I made a face with the scalp comment. ASMRtists have been adding more Afro Hairplay videos (which is great), but you definitely have to debunk a few Afro hair myths first. ASMR certified mood was the first person I saw do this, but he’ll try to style it too. Check out his channel. He’s great!

Yeah, she also said: "The hairline's abit crazy" "Want to try and see if I can find some order in here" "It's dry" -_- but then later talked about how the "product" made areas greasy 🤔 And the constant use of the word frizzy, sis afros aren't inherently _frizzy_ it's _texture_ With the way this was narrated it felt like she was examining a specimen for scientific study which made it doubly uncomfortable idk.
