"N" is "y" not "e"

@@petrmore5967 No, "y" in english is pronounced /wai/, "e" in english is pronounced /'i/. For her "N" she's pronouncing /'i/ not /wai/ so you are wrong.

@@petrmore5967 I'm a native Russian speaker and "N" is not "И" (these are different letters, but in the word "big" the letter "i" sounds just like a Russian letter "И")

When I was in middle school, my schooldmates and me would write secret messages in italian, but using Cyrillic alphabet, so nobody else could understand. This video brought me lovely memories of those times 💖

Russian and Italian are very close phonetically. It is quite possible to write Italian in Russian letters.

It feels odd to be congratulated despite the language I took up being closely related to English and not Slavic at all, I can hardly imagine how people who've lived in an environment that did everything but force them to take up multiple languages feel.

Thank you for this. At first the Cyrillic alphabet was very strange to me. But when you finally have the will to learn it. It becomes easier. Though there's still have a long way to go, I recognize how to pronounce certain letters from memory. Russian is such a beautiful language.

Some of the letters have a similar pronunciation to spanish, so it’s not as hard as i thought! The only kind of hard oner were «г» «й» «ч» «щ» «ы» ahah😭

Этнос в современном понимании означает скорее самосознание определённой группы людей, их общую культурную и историческую судьбу. Не смотря на то, что для 99% белорусов русский язык является первым и родным, эти же 99% себя к русским не относят. Они беларусы. Можно привести аналогию: французы и бельгийцы, немцы и австрийцы, британцы и австралийцы. Белорусский язык это мёртвый язык, на нем разговаривает в повседневной жизни очень маленькое количество людей, его учат в школах, как когда-то в Европе учили латынь

Fun fact: the cyrillic alphabet originated in Bulgaria and then it spread to other slav countries, all of the countries adopted it and made their unique letters, as you can see in the Russian alphabet with their unique letters
