In the US we are told when visiting Mexico to not drink the tap water because it can make you sick- something about it makes visitors ill. Also, safest to stay on the resort but if you want to explore, book excursions through the resort recommended agency. Usually they have a booth in the resort’s main lobby.

Bottled water only -be careful with the foods you eat and bring lots of medication incase you get sick - re apply sunscreen wayyy more than you think I left with 2nd degree burns 😅 -of course enjoy every moment ❤❤❤❤

My only advice if you go to Mexico is in some areas it’s safer to stay in the resort, and overall just be careful and be prepared to be sick when you leave from the water. There’s just something about the water that effects visitors poorly

Girl I am the same way! I had bangs and was over them by day 4.🤣 I had them pulled by with a hairpin majority of the time. You’ll start to like them again once they turn into curtain bangs length.

as someone who was born in arizona, make sure you use more sun screen/sun block than you think you need. Also, REAPLY, omg that is so important, I never followed that, and I got sunburns at least once per week- IN THE WINTER

I would recommend taking dollar bills or pesos to tip waiters. Stay with your group, even in public like shopping areas. Book excursions through your hotel. I'm Mexican-American and my people are so hospitable. Sadly it is known for some dangers as well. Have fun and hopefully we get to hear about your trip!! 💖

3 makeup items easy will be eyeliner , blush and lipstick. Those are the most effective one with me you can use the blush as blush and eyeshadow or even the lipstick as eyeshadow so it's a win

Meine Chefin war mal in Mexiko und sie wurde im Leihwagen von einem Polizisten angehalten, bedroht und musste Geld zahlen, um nicht verhaftet zu werden (obwohl sie nichts gemacht hat). One very important piece of advice: I had a patient not long ago who was in Mexico and the cab driver was driving too fast and lost control of the cab and crashed into another vehicle. i don´t know what part of Mexico you're going.. but I'm sure you are going to totally love it!!! Have fun!!! Try Micheladas and chilaquiles, quesadillas y sopes. Fish or shrimp tacos are awesome!!! If they tell you sauce is not spicy, it might be spicy lol, but try it. Best beer ever: Pacifico, Indio, Tecate and Negra Modelo. When you ask for a beer, say: Una chela por favor! We mexicans love it, when people at least try to speak a bit of spanish 😊

I was always scared of a wax, but I’d like to try it. I went through some stitches to that area with no anesthesia after having my son, so I think I can handle anything lol. I don’t recommend being mean to your waxer of course, but one thing that helped me was imagining kicking the doctor in the face! I am thinking about buying an at home laser for hair removal instead though.
