The only asparagus ends recipe you'll ever need is this soup, or a variation of it. There's lots of recipes out there showing ways to make woody asparagus stalks into soup, but this recipe, taught to me by one of the most talented chefs I ever met, has a secret that makes it stand out from the rest. Hint: you'll need a food processor.

I like the strainer method as well. I do not like floss in my soups either. Great recipe and I enjoyed seeing the accents in the bowl to enhance flavor and experience.

What a beautiful recipe. My son would have loved helping me make something called "Asparagus Butt Soup" when he was a child. Genius way of using something that is normally discarded.

Amazing shot at the very end with the plated vegetables wow!!!! What kind of oil do you add during the blend? Olive oil?
