I encountered the Spanish Royal Family, and also Goldie Hawn. My parents went to Aspen for their honey moon, and fell in love with it. So they returned almost every year with us as we were born. So, being Mexican, I grew up skiing there, and spending the best family time, the best Christmas and vacations in Aspen.

I worked in Aspen last winter as a lift operator, so many fun times and amazing snow. The Marriott family (hotel owners) came through my lift on Christmas and gave me a card, it was really nice haha

You still working there? How did you go about getting housing in the valley?

@@mountainman8436 I got housing through ski co, the company that runs all the mountains there. I stayed in Basalt, right outside Aspen, in a tiny home trailer, it was pretty awesome, 30 min RFTA bus ride into downtown Aspen

I’m going for the first time with my parents December 12-26. Do you think there will be a good amount of snow during first couple weeks of December? Also how common is it to see celebrities or royal people haha

@@CodyQuach Do you want to see Royal 👑 people or celebrities all day long until you hate them? The best places before the Pandemia 🦠🤧 were Sain Tropez France 🇫🇷, Marbella Spain🇪🇸 and Aspen Colorado🇺🇸 They love these 3 places. Forget about Paris, London or NY 👈😝😂 you'll lose your time

Aspen’s nice but it’s kind of the cliche rich ski town… there are many other ski towns in the US that are more exclusive, have better terrain, or are more secluded. Aspen blew up in the 90s / 00s and then a lot of the wealthy and celebs fled elsewhere. Sadly they gentrified the hell out of a lot of lesser known hardcore ski towns that now have giant four seasons hotels at the base. 🤷🏻♂️ My parents and I watched the evolution over years of winter ski trips.
