No sir, you are totally wrong. There are many hindi oils that don't have even 1% skank I had like top top artisanal oud which was like $500 per gram. It was from Assaam and it was so refreshing that i never thought that its even a hindi oud. It all depends on distillation method used and quality of wood. Taj ul bakhshi is a legendary distiller.

@@scentexplorer sir you are talking about artisanal oud , they do various things with pure oud to remove the leatheriness, skankyness . Hindi oud are from assam and nagaland only . No one will like oud in purest form and they cant . Its only about how old an oud is , that barny , smoky, and pleasant smell will come in it without leathery notes And Indian oud is famous for longetivity and their last notes which is real smoky and aromatic and gives peace to mind .I personally went to assam for a trip and there i bought an oud from a distiller in 3000 rupees for 3 ml , it lasts for more than 7 days on my clothes and that pleasant smell start coming after 7 to 8 hour Combodi oud and indonesian oud are very less skanky but they dont last more than Indian oud . These are just indian and asian ouds which are now becoming just a royal thing and thats why attar industry is dying . Cheap but best attars are now becoming a divine thing and reserved only for VIP of middle east , so 95% population lost interest in attars , and those who are using attars are using very cheap quality and low grade chemical attars which are destroying their health.

I have sniffed Hindi oud oils that are yellow and flowery in scent profiles, and have a sweet cheese kind of scent to them. So if you think that Taj Ul Bakhshi sahib who is a legendary name in Hindi Oud is altering oud then you are in the wrong direction. Try to purchase and sniff a few samples of his marvelous oud oils. If there is one name I would buy Hindi Oils, it would be Taj sahib

@@ahsanidrisi either i am not able to explain or my communication skills are very bad. I never said taj bakhshi is altering oud but artisanal means extracting oud oil by different methods and special trees , but no matter what all the ouds are extracted from the same aquilaria trees or agarwood trees . The cost that they setup is 100 times the cost of distillation and plantation . I tasted ensar oud also and believe me , apart from top notes , all other notes are very very same , every oud gives same last notes which is the most loving part of oud , no matter if that oud costs 50$ or 500$.

It's just like all cars have 4 wheels but they are all priced differently depending on their quality and luxury. Some people like me love quality and niche over quantity. Some people run after quantity like buying 1 total instead of 1g of Artisanal Oud Oils. For me, $500 and $50 oud oils are far different from each other. I had Hindi oud oils from Abdul Samad Al Qureshi but I don't like to apply them Artisanal Oud Oils actually mesmerize you, each Oud Oil is a perfume in itself. Different Top, middle and base notes are just like perfume. That is what brought me into Artisanal grade oils. I can't comprehend the beauty of its variations. You get the different smells from the wood each time with different regions and distiller. If you want to sniff Artisanal Grade, try to go above the $500 mark like Tigerwood Royale or Tigerwood.
