Geez man back playing this as a kid, I never knew how the family died, I thought they were dropped into a thing of spikes. Geez being hung is a horrible fate. Watching the birth of a nation seeing nat turner get hung, reminded me of how it looked to me in ac 2 as a kid. Just realized how bad it really was. Definitely going to re play every ac game to understand what I couldn’t as a child.
@XXXTENTAClON2272 жыл бұрын
Lol so it wasn’t just me who was like “where’d their bodies go?” when I was younger… But actually, the only horrible part is the build up and anticipation, as well as jeering people. Being dropped onto spikes is much worse, you’d feel it all, and you might not even die. Being hung in this context simply breaks your neck, aka immediately severing your nervous system. You’d feel nothing and die immediately. I know your comment is 2 years old, but still
@keshi5541 Жыл бұрын
@@XXXTENTAClON227 The death is mostly caused by the neck snapping under the weight of their body and downward force from being dropped. If somehow the person managed to survive this they will slowly suffocate and would seen perish slowly. It is very cruel. Far worse than the guillotine in my opinion, at least in majority of the time the death would be painless and swift. As for where there bodies went there is actually a compartment under the building structure that houses the body when dropped.
@XXXTENTAClON227 Жыл бұрын
@@keshi5541 that is when they misjudge the length of the drop though, for example sometimes if it was too far they’d just be decapitated. If it was too short, they’d just suffocate and die. The drop is intended to be swift and is usually almost successful. The guillotine is still fearful because no one knows if the decapitated head will still be briefly conscious
@keshi5541 Жыл бұрын
@@XXXTENTAClON227 There are more reasons than misjudging height to mistake the hanging process and have the person strangle to death. Improvements to the hanging process came later in the 19th century before that they mainly relied on them just dying due to lack of oxygen and not the snap of their neck.. this was critiqued as people found it both in-humane and inefficient in how it was being carried out. Like you said it was random with the rope lengths but I'd say more people died from suffocation slowly rather than a swift death. As for the guillotine execution even though yes our head can survive for a while after death. It's about 10-15 seconds. It relatively a swift process compared to hanging and is far more successful in completing the job. Hanging is like torture and an execution at the same time. Takes about 10-20 minutes of agony/suffering before dying. Many people agree that despite guillotine being the most horrific way to execute someone. It's also the most humane and efficient way, though I'm not glorifying the practice but it's still much better than hanging.

That "I'LL KILL YOU FOR WHAT YOU'VE DONE" was venomous; he stabbed him 5 times and it was with the same venom that threat had!

To think Ezio came from a NEETslacker to the man that had to carry the world on his shoulders.

Were boys dealt with PTSD and REAL MEN cried because of Ezio being into his 1st day into his 17th birthday. Man just imagine being 16-17 years old and watching your family's best friend executing your father and siblings. People underestimate how strong psychology Ezio must have had after all his tragic losses he had in his life.

Ezio's family dying was, in my opinion, the starting point of the life of the GREATEST assassin of all time! (Black Flag will forever be my favourite Assassin's Creed game and second favourite video game of all time, but it was because of the OTHER characters we got to know. Ezio was the assassin we got to know the best)

I think a what if alternate reality would be cool. What if Giovanni was the one who avoided arrest but Ezio took his place instead, something like the flashpoint batman.
