I have seen a lot of tribute videos but none of them quite match up to this. Whoever you are, wherever you are, you know what you are doing. Thank you for paying your respect to the one game that stands out from the rest of the series. The story not of an assassin but of a man.

Edward character is one of the best development in the Ac series. Also, reading the Ac4 book, Edward wanted to be rich because his wife gave up her riches for him. Also, he's hardly a womaniser at all, compared to what you see in the trailers, the only woman Edward been with is only been with is Caroline and his second wife Tessa. I think anyone would agree with me, if they read the book

As the world crumbles around him and his friends pay the price for the path he has taken on his own, he seeks direction, direction provided by a creed." Yes, but you know why? Because he changes with the plot, he "evolves" with the story like none character in the ac franchise has done before, yes altair and ezio are not the same at the beginning and at the end of their stories but with edward that change becomes more obvious and tragic, he's blind of the world's real nature and when he sees what life is about which i think it happens with the death of black bear, he starts to see the world with another eyes.

This tribute kinda hurt, because listening to it made me realize that these guys did exist, well kenway didn't but whatever, and they all fought against the thieving, restricting, slaving empires, and in the end, they didn't win. And who did? The slavers, the dictators, and the general arseholes. The only pirates who survived were Anne bonnie and Henry Evory (pretty sure that's it). The golden age of piracy was an awesome time to be alive, but it wasn't half bittersweet

@@amberxv4777 Well that's a bit too far. Granted they weren't saints or but they weren't slavers or rampant murderers either. Hell, look at real life Blackbeard and you'll find that he did more intimidating than killing. In the end they were just people who got the short end of the stick doing what they can to survive. And considering the standards of those time, you'll find the pirate life tend to be better for most of them if still lethal

@@rojaedavis8367 Maybe you should google pirates before you speak. Pirates kill for gold and take slaves to sell them for gold or kidnap women and force men to work on their crew. Grecon Nah ! Every other AC game was better to me. Just look at the map ! There's more sea than land ! We were doing stealth mission with a god d*mn ship ! And we had to wait 'till the last three sequencies to see Edward turn into a real Assassin ! Yeah ... Of course it got a bit emotional before and right after he turned an Assassin. The scene where he met his daughter filled me with joy (Poor Caroline was dead ...) The English voice acting is good with every single game of this franchise (but talking about about the French VA that one was the best) And personally, the scene where onnor was forced to kill Kanon ... His friend was much more emotional. That guy was brain washed by Charles Lee and gave up his life hping for a better futur for his village. He thought his friend was a traitor when he saw the patriots right before his willage and even intended to kill im (But hhe was no match for Connor) Tell me, how Connor's WHOLE story didn't make you drop a tear?

The Red 44 lol...in the assassin creed black flag novel Edward was heartbroken. But I think the saddest death in the entire franchise was Haytham kenway's death. I cried for a week

A game that throws you on an adventure, going through fun, betrayal, loss, and brings it all to a meaningful end. These are the kind of games that leave lasting impressions on us and will stay in out memories. Really wish I hadn't cancelled my collector's edition of this game, don't know what made me.

Edward might not be a full on assassin but what makes his character unique is that he is everything an assassin is, hes a good man and chases whatever he wants for his own self he likes to live free but he does care about others, hes skilled at stealth and sneaky cheat attacks. Also he having the eagle vision since he was a kid, Edward might not be the most ,Assassin' of all the assassins but as a character of Assassins creed he undoubtedly sits up there with Ezio, it took Ezio 3 games and just one for Edward to become a legend

Edward lost all but two people he cared about, one of whom left him. His story isn't just the saddest and most memorable in the series, but one of the greatest in all of gaming. Sometimes, I look through the story and wish that Edward could be given another game, or perhaps one set through the eyes of Anne after the events of Black Flag. Something to satisfy me, something to take my mind off the fact that Edward never got the happy ending he deserved.

I feel the Kenway family needs more games than just 2 or 3 added with Rogue, I think we deserve a sequel to what happened to Edward after becoming an Assassin, and how he was killed, I must mention Connor too since he's often misunderstood by the fans.
