You can test the science behind it by getting a plastic cup, filling up your bathtub with water, and plunge the top of the cup into water. Although that air would probably be very stale a that time, so breathing it might not be too pleasant. It’s the same effect as if you went diving or snorkelling under a rock overhang.When you exhale, the air bubbles ascend and gather on the rock a of the overhang above you, as they can’t ascend all the way to the surface due to the rocks blocking their path. Adewale’s drip from Freedom Cry and Rogue is so dope. Too bad we’re never going to see them as legacy outfits… I also became addicted to this DLC, and full 100%ed the game. Olivier Deriviere composed the music for this game-the same guy who wrote music for A Plague Tale 1&2, Remember Me, Streets of Rage 4, Vampyr!

The freedom cry dlc was definitely planned before the game released. I remember when the game first came out they advertised the season pass in the main menu, and it mentioned the future release of freedom cry.

The air barrels work off the exact same concept as the diving bell. You can do this in your kitchen sink with a cup, but if you take the cup and put it in the water upside down, it'll trap a pocket of air. It's how you're able to get air from the diving bell. And I believe the oxygen from the water keeps the air fresh.

The air barrel works because when the hole is at the bottom and put it under water it creates an air bubble.

Idk if it still works but the go to strat for black flag used to be using 2 berserker darts on an axe brute and one of the knife lieutenants that parry respectively. The ones that could beat the smaller one couldn’t get passed the brute and so by the time I came out of my bush or hay cart there’s only one or two guys left

Im not a scuba diver, though i have a thought. You could realistically use air barrels in water, air would most likely escape at due to the wood, you’d just have to offset the water to air pressure with weights to sink the barrel. Would be the same as a diving bell.

okay so with the air barrels thing is that they have air inside them that is less condensated than water and thats why the air buble is on top while the water cannot sink in as long as your barrel is waterproof

In assassin's creed freedom cry you can find the jackdaw it's sunk underwater near a place called haspolia or something like that it's optional in the game but if you search and look around the wreckage you can find the figurine and the name of the jackdaw behind at the back part of the ship i just found this out and am mad and alot of other things i just thought i'd let you know this
