I’m actually obsessed with this game

In skyrim when you accidentally attack a chicken the town tries to kill you. In odyssey, the chicken kills you.

You can light your arrows by equiping a torch. Chucking it by your feet and then crounch with your bow drawn

If you stand still for long enough, Ikaros lands on your arm, and you can press Y or Triangle to feed him.

This game has actually taken me away from RDR2, I needed a break and fair play this is the best Creed game in a VERY long time.

Real tip: Carefully connect wine spillage with grassy areas throughout a camp, and take the whole thing down with one fire arrow. It takes a few fire and stealth perks, as well as a bit of time, but the result is lovely.

I didn't know about the parrying arrows, very interesting.

For number 12, when u board an enemy ship and kill everyone it restores ur ships health to full. This is useful when u are fighting a fleet, boarding a ship and getting ur health restored is a great tactic to make fighting multiple ships manageable.

tip 15: ram ships with boosted speed instead of boarding them and you ll get double the resources

Another trick that I learned is that you can fire a poison arrow into a source of fire and it will explode setting everything around it on fire. For example in the many tombs you can find snakes, sometimes they are close to each other. Throw your torch at the one in the middle, and shoot it's burning corpse with a poison arrow and it will explode and instantly kill the snakes that are right next to it as well. I learned this accidentally, I threw a torch at a snake to kill it, but it missed I was using the Fanged Bow which turns normal arrows into poison ones, so I went to shoot the snake and the arrow passed through the fire and exploded.

Boarding ships was a viable strategy in Black Flag also

Tip: If you attack after you jump from a ledge, by the time you reach the ground you can do a seismic landing that will knock enemies away and also deal some damage.

15. You can defeat any mercenary even if it is 10 - 15 levels above your level. This is applicable if they are hunting you. Here's how. - Dock the adestria. - Lure them near the dock and jump right in the adestria (no need to undock). - Fire away.. cos they will get stuck and cant even move.. but sometimes they also fight back with arrows. But your still safe cos you have so many covers. I discovered it myself when a mercenary was hunting me.. it was 9 levels above me so I ran away and jump in the adestria, then I saw it cannot move and I just shoot him with arrows without taking any damage. I repeated the same technique and this time she can move and fire back her arrows but cant hit me. So I just shoot her down again.

In 0:58 the fire our trick you can actually set the arrow on fire without those fires you can use the flame attack ability that makes your sword firey and it also makes your arrows firey

you can kill enemies from a distance by repeatedly throwing the torch. you can do that by throwing it at an arch, just aim until the health bar of the enemy your targeting is visible. this of course depends on how far you are from them

Something I've been doing to avoid bounty hunters is to switch to unarmed when fighting groups of soldiers. By knocking them out instead of killing them, you gain no bounty. After a certain level you can press right on the d-pad to switch to your secondary weapon, which i keep unarmed, and then just knock people out. Works great with a tank build. Edit: if you use the Greek Heroes set, and stack with engravings for additional resistance/health, even elite enemies do barely any damage. The Greek Heroes set gives you 30% to all resistances by base

No matter how much hate this game gets, its probably my favorite game of all time

The biggest tip I can give anyone is always have a 2 handed heavy weapon equipped, enemies love to turtle up behind their shields and a heavy weapon can easily break their guard with normal swings.

This game has broken my RB on my Xbox One Elite Controller. I still play it.

Ummm......yeah any regular player would figure these out just playing a couple hours.

additional tip , if you have a lot of drachmae buy items at Blacksmith to dismantle for resources, of course you have to buy items that is rich of the specifc resources you need. also blacksmiths sells resources always visit one if available in the new places. in this way upgrades of weapon and ships will not be a problem.

Bad timing for this video with RDR2 out lol. Still after finishing Spiderman, having RDR2 and Odyssey each with 100s of hours of content and getting to replay spyro, the first game i ever played again after so long. boy what a good last quarter.

You missed something very important, engraves have levels and you can level them up by making some missions or buying them from the hephastus's smith, to see what you have to do to level up the engrave you go to inventory and click engraves, then you put your "mouse" on top of the one you want info, to see what you need to level up or unlock it. If we ignore the block arrow and the photo thing I knew all of them... Heres a tip, go to some road, take some long weapon, take your horse and go hit and run strategy, it's doing much more dmg to big enemies and it doesn't matter how many enemies you have

I have well over 200 hours on the game and I can safely tell you that torches are useless. The fire does no damage if not with a fire build, and it's better if you either use the fire ability or engrave your weapon with "weapon damage does fire damage" as it will also upgrade your normal attack. Why am I here?

Or, instead of photo mode between ship battles, just don't assume command until the enemy ships circling you are in a favorable position. Also, you can cheese the mercenaries by getting a bounty on your head and shooting explosive arrows from the spawn point of Athena's statue. Just remember to use knockout arrows at the end to enlist them for your ship, and make sure you have lots of materials to craft arrows.

The best way to kill SHARKS is Poseidon Fork. Just make sure to kill them on bottom of the sea or on the surface of corral reef etc

i prefer selling items and bought materials in shop, that way you can get 10x more materials than dismantling it.

I never lock on to enemies. I just parry and counter any attack. Its better imo

This is the first AC game ever I actually died during combat and had to run away from time to time. Stupid mind-numbing button mashing will never work in this game. So I see clear reasons why so many people hate this game because it requires planning and strategy. Also 2nd wheel abilities can add complexity which could be challenging to people whose IQ falls below average. For me, this is one of THE BEST out of all AC games. One of the best melee combat system ever out of all games I played. Now I kill Mercs for fun. My bounty level always stay at 5 RED heads. Killing 5 Mercs in one combat feels great. Level 87 with 270 hours playtime so far, but haven't beat the game yet. This game is MASSIVE. In RDR 2, if I calculate I might have spent 100 hours just for watching stupid animation but not in this game, 270 hours full of action

Boarding ships to freeze also works in Black Flag

please tell me how to use the second melee ability wheel/set of abilities! which shows under the primary. some people say you need level 15 and spear 3 upgrade. But I am done spear 5 upgrade and a@ level 46, so tell me how to activate /use of that. Make a Video on it bcoz I find and nobody is telling it! I hit like buton of my own comment LOL
