Dude this game is so fucking addicting, i've been playing since Tuesday and i kid you not im 40 hours in already and i haven't even finished the main story im just exploring and hunting legendary animals, looting and exploring for legendary/epic gear and doing side quests, i didn't think i'd like it this much tbh all that hate before release almost got to me when people said it was trash but its really great!

King Vibes also if the opponent can't swim you can Sparta kick them in a big body of water and they instantly start drowning. I have killed a level 42 by doing that.

I had about 100 hours i to Origins.and was loving it and all of a sudden it just froze on one part. I returned it to gamestop and the other.copy did the exact same thing. I have rarely felt so bummed/dissappointed by now im playing Odyssey and.loving it

A little thing I figured out to avoid naval battles is find a sync point and find the nearest town and call your ship to the dock. Saves a ton of time sailing if your ship is lightly upgraded like mine.

Lovely Carnage you upgrade your spear of Leonidas. On one of the islands in the northeast part of the map. Just keep going in the story and when you’re around level 15ish it’ll unlock as part of the main story.

A major tip I would recommend is I noticed you can equip certain items like a hood or gloves or whatever and then you could change the appearance of them to whatever other Glover Hood you want. So what I've been able to do is just focus on upgrading one equipment set and if I want to change my appearance I change the appearance while still equipping the same set so you don't waste extra materials and upgrading different sets

How to kil every enemy: Find something high above the ground (cliff our a house) Bring the enemy there. Use Spartan kick. Enjoy (works really good with mercenaries)

I've been playing this for a while now, and at first I thought the stealth system was unkind to the Hunter class. Not so. You just need to understand how the Hunter class operates, as stealth and the way guards perceive you have changed from Origins. The bushes are your friend, and once you upgrade your bow and engrave it and your garb with hunter-based abilities, you'll be able to do those one shot one kill assassinations multiple times without being seen. You could probably get a few kills from the bushes, then move. As they come looking, use Call to Arms to group up a lot of the soldiers, then use Rain of Destruction to deals damage to a whole group while they're distracted with your Lieutenant. From there you can continue to shoot off normal arrows to boost your meter when needed. Most of the time they will not detect you if you remain hidden. If they do, you can move, then hide again. You can use Vanish if necessary, then you can set up again and continue the slaughter or prowl a bit and take out individuals. Just don't forget to neglect your Assassin stats. Also, if you're playing as a Hunter, I'd recommend not getting Arrow Master or the Beast Master abilities. The Arrow Master gives you access to all sorts of new types of arrows, but the truth is, you really don't need them. In fact, you need the resources you'd be spending crafting those arrows 24/7 much more for your SHIP than you need that elemental damage for opponents (which takes time to build up, assuming you hit your mark frequently). Later in the game, you will naturally gain access to an upgraded devastation arrow, and you can always switch to that if you're fighting stronger beasts or other Mercenaries. But believe me, you aspiring Hunters will want to save wood and other resources for upgrading your SHIP and your EQUIPMENT rather than always spending it on specialty arrows. So remember the KISS rule. The Beast Master ability is cool, but I found that it isn't actually really worth it, especially the first two levels of the perk. Simply put, the beasts just don't last that long in a real scuffle, which makes the time you spent knocking them out a waste really. You might as well just kill them and take their pelts. If you need a companion in battle, just use your Lieutenants, but the Beast Master perk is largely for show imo. If you're going to go Hunter, going all the way by trashing everything that isn't Epic or essential to your build helps to maintain your resources. Sell the Epic gear you don't need to maintain money, and don't spend money you gained in the world on random gear. Once you get a REAL set of Hunter Gear later in the game, or an agreeable set at least, you will be able to upgrade the entire set to your level and put Hunter engravings on them. Then you'll be unstoppable. Anyway, that's my advice for all you Hunters out there. Happy hunting!

Here's one for you all, you can set fire to war supplies by poking it with a notched fire arrow, sort of like how you can light regular arrows on fire by poking them into most flame sources. Or just wait until you get Hades' bow and/or the engrave to light up regular arrows by default

Tip for bounty hunters/mercenaries find a high ledge and Sparta kick or charge attack them off ( BUT later into the game mercenaries become unable to get knocked over and so this might not work at higher levels

The part about your gear is really important, im mainly an assassin/hunter player so when i tried my hands with a few conquest battles i got my ass handed to me, so totally invest in a warrior gear set that you like and upgrade it for these battles.

I found this awesome trick where if you call your horse when running, your horse will catch up to you and you will automatically jump on it instead of having to press Y or triangle! I thought that was a nice touch

I've yet to pres Q once in a fight... lol. Honestly, I keep forgetting it's there because dodge feels so much more useful.

What is your favorite type of weapon? Personally, I like the heavy blades. Not to slow, but pretty powerful

Used sword of Nikolaos as first weapon all until the end. Worked fine. With fire damage effect looked epic. Secondary was spear of atalanta when i needed to keep opponent on a distance. All others didnt work well for me.

I'm about 10 hours into AC Odyssey, and I'm wondering if I am "supposed" to support the Spartan army? Or does it really have any effect on the outcome of the game? Can I fight for whoever whenever?

Getting the Blade of Yumminess on a second load out slot actually helped improve my parrying and dodge skills as you no longer can use overpower attacks or abilities to interrupt enemies attacks which I depended on a lot on 1st playthrough

I have 33 hours, I am level 27 managed to kill important people such as a cultist that was level 49 when I was level 26 somehow.... and I can say after playing and watching gameplay and reviews that this is the best AC ever but quite a margin combat is insanely good, good balance between sea and land good naval combat and great world to lose yourself I have never been so addicted to an AC since AC Brotherhood!

Yeah one of my biggest mistakes in origins is I didn’t synchronize any spots so I had to do about 40-50 once I was max lvl

You can manual save really quick just by hitting up d pad on the inventory menu

you can quick save with dpad up on map so u dont have to go to menu and overwrite

Set interaction button in the settings to the same if crouch and try to recruit someone over and over again, spam and repeat

I did a mix of stealth and sheer power and its not hard to do that they say just focus on one but you should focus on two options i did it at the cost of predator (hunting and bow manipulation) but i dont use the bow unless absolutely necessary I.E fleeing or far away targets not readily available to attack

I took the “snipers” abilities, but trashed out the rest of the hunter shit. It helps eliminating one or two low threat soldiers so that it’s less annoying when raiding a fort
