Kind of wished they would've given this movie a subtitle like "Assassin's Creed: Inquisition" or something. Because some people might get confused and think this is an adaptation of the first game, when in actuality it just takes place within the AC universe.

True story: Went on my honeymoon from Canada and did a Mediterranean Cruise. Ended up visiting Malta and they were filming for the movie in the streets. It was a Sunday, so no one was around. It'll be cool to try and spot the scenes, though with the way the buildings were in Malta, they probably didn't need much CG in the foreground. Can't wait for the movie.

+Mortifer V. Try this... open up Glitch Mob - Seven Army Remix (used in the Battlefield 1 trailer) in a new tab. Start this trailer and keep the volume up. At 30 seconds start the Glitch Mob track and then mute this trailer at 52 seconds. Makes the trailer 10000% better.

This film looks magnificent in my opinion! I really enjoyed playing the original video game this movie is based on for that matter. Marion Cottilard and Michael Fasbender worked with director, Justin Kerzel, through the film, "Macbeth". I thought that movie was amazing! I am certainly looking forward to seeing their second cinematic involvement in, "Assasins Creed"!

Almost everything works in this trailer - except the music - it is so out of place that it feels like an engine missing a gear and juddering, when the trailer called for gravitas, it was given gravel - they could have gone with the music from the games and it would have been vastly superior.

A lot of people complaining about the music. I'm not a fan of Kanye, but I think the music fits - for the Templars. They are the ones largely categorized with the god-complex - though Achilles and even William Miles had their moments too.

Before I watched it, I was expecting to see Ezio. It would have been so perfect, I thought they'd stick with that storyline. Looks good anyway.

To all of those who say the trailer looks terrible,let me remind you about the Assassin's Creed series of video games. Especially the Animus. The animus was created so that a person can see their ancestor's pass using the ancestor gene, which is in all of us. A major element of the game series is that the main character was being trained as an Assassin, while simultaneously having his memories searched by a major international company called Abstergo (which when the series began, was being advertised as a pharmaceutical company) so the people of Abstergo-who were really Templars-could have the Pieces of Eden and have the entire world hypnotized into following them no matter what. To me, it makes more sense that the Animus would look like this, for in order to do such amazing feats such as jumping long distances and climbing, you'd have to have muscle memory and repetition, unlike in the game series, where the main character is all like "I've laid down for several hours, I can somehow instantly memorize every single movement my ancestor did. Good to go." Realistically though, in order to fully memorize your ancestor's actions, you have to practice those actions, which is why I am thankful they're going this route when it comes to the Animus. Just my opinion though...though yes, they could've had better music for the trailer. Please have good music when the movie comes out. Thank you.

look closely at 1:19 when the hidden blade on her right arm slits the guy to the left. If you slow the video down you can clearly see that the blade just miraculously slides through his body without any blood or impact. This is a faulty animation and they forgot to remove some frames.

I would have given a greater benefit of a doubt for this trailer, but the unnecessary sound effects and Kanye ruined it for me. Probably another blockbuster that will bust no blocks
