Tf.... how is the game being too long seen as bad? Ubi has now shortened ac mirage down to 20 hrs instead of 47 hrs and now people are complaining about mirage being too short.... so just shut tf up about how long the games are because it's not ubisofts fault it's the fans who are batshit delusional and have no clue what they want

@@WaKy. it’s all part of simulations/memories, that have been filtered into mythologies so that the main protagonists can comprehend what’s happening, can you imagine Eivor’s brain if they had seen what Isu civilisation was actually like with flying cars, skyscrapers and technology? That’s why everything is shown as ‘mythological’.

@@carwynwilliams7398 still it shouldn’t be in the franchise. If you want to play as odin and fight frost giants, play something else. It doesn’t belong in assassins creed. Also ubisoft would rather have the player play as odin rather than an assassin.

@@tango-tapas armour, but not like in odyssey with each individual piece, it’s more like armour sets. you can decide if u want him bald or with hair, and shaved or with a beard. you can customise shields as well which although has a gameplay use also can be a good fashion item.

Me too!!! I just discovered it on gamepass last month & I love it. Im on Mt 2nd playthrough & it's even more fun b/c I know what to upgrade & how to do certain things. B4 I was brand new to the series. I have so much fun doing things outside main missions like hunting to get crafting materials & taking out entire bandit camps without being detected, & also the side missions

@@lastlasygamer3987 yes but missions become repetitive, it's always go somewhere on your boat, kill X person, speak with somebody important or break into a castle. I know some missions were different and I loved them, but for me the number 1 takeaway from Valhalla's open world is the missions' lack of diversity, it's most of the time never about eavesdropping on somebody, infiltrating into enemy's ranks or steal something from a highly garded area. In Valhalla, stealth is optional and you can at all time just shut your brain off and kill everyone without worry that it will impact progression or story, it's fun at first but when you enter the hundred hour marks it becomes boring and seemingly always the same.

We needed a game on the basis of the great series of vikings based on ragnar lothbrok and assassin's creed delivered us a great game. Ac valhalla is not a game u want when u think of assassin's creed but otherwise its a great game with a goated protagonist in my opinion ❤😊.

You mean the lackluster disappointing origin story that retconned previous lore and become a knock off Witcher clone with an inconsistent main character that everyone likes due to the performance of the actor instead of the actual writing of said character. Vs A viking that worked with the hidden ones to fight against the order and basically helped create the templars unintentionally in a game that's bloated with too much content yet has glimmers and shines of what a true assassins creed would be, fixing the lore that was ruined and making modern day great again.

I just replayed origins . It's kinda fun till you get to the pyramids then you just kinda get thrown in the desert.. wish the story was longer and used more of the map. First playthrough was good fun, though but same feeling

Its cool to see how different peoples opinions are on games. Origins is one of my top games right behind red dead, but i also really enjoyed valhalla and found it actually underrated with all the hate it gets.

this could be a cool series idea. Instead of the characters, compare the games? Also I agree, I prefer Origins by far in the new trinity. Odyssey and Valhalla are good games don't get me wrong, but they arent' good as Assassin's Creed games imo Origins does, with Bayek and Aya making the Hidden Ones, the predecessor of the actual Assassin's Creed and doing actual assassin stuff and I also like how Aya changes her name Amunet and it recalls to one the statues in AC2 under the villa that unlocks Altair's armor. The DLC's for Origins are really cool, the hidden ones we see Bayek and Aya do more actual assassin shit and do stuff as a movement and the curse of the pharaohs is really cool and looks stunning in when you can visit different nether realms of the previous pharaohs from their tombs and battle them also.

personally i didn’t like those parts. I don’t like playing as gods or fighting mythical beasts in an assassins creed game. I prefer stealth, parkour, and realistic combat.

I love the feel of valhalla,so violent yet calming and i LOVE the fighting mechanism its perfect and the whole journey of eivor wolf-kissed is magnificent not to mention the weapons and outfits design the tattoos,hiarstyles and all that.....mann by far my favourite AC game❤❤

King Alfred wasn’t the antagonist of Valhalla, it was Basim, King Alfread helped Eivor out more than Basim did, and he is the only reason peace was brought to England

Unfortunately I disagree Valhalla is the best ac rpg. I’ve played it since launch sporadically and I’m still not bored I change my cosmetics to keep it fresh every while I’ve probably worn everything twice but it’s the most expansive rpg they’ve ever made

Honestly reading some of these comments makes me angry, hating on a game is just babyish, if your gonna wrongfully judge a game then keep it to yourself 🤷‍♂️sometimes change is for the better. AND REMEMBER assassins creed wasn’t predominantly ever fully purposed to be a game all about assassins. It’s about history, just because the game was introduced as that it doesn’t always mean it’s to do with that, if you don’t like Odyssey or Valhalla then just keep it to yourself, don’t weaken someone else’s opinion on a game THEY like. Just stick to the old games. Win Win

The original vision was about Assassins vs Templars. The way they told that story was through history. The games were never focused on history (until the recent ones) Wanting to play as an Assassin in Assassin’s Creed isn’t too much to ask for lol…it’s in the title.

Okay this is just my opinion, I don’t like AC Origins at all but it’s still a good game. I personally prefer the newest 2 although they have little connection to the Assassins and Templars they’re still really good I just don’t think they’re “Assassin’s Creed”.

Origins is coo but the open desert gets tedious asf and plus the movement and fight mechanics ain’t great. Odyssey perfected it. And whoever hates on Valhalla, just know it’s better than Mirage

It has been a very looooooong time since I’ve felt addicted to a game but I have recently got Valhalla and I fight myself to have to get off. It definitely does not feel like any other assassin creed game but it’s a great game. I’ve been looking for a good rpg game I can get into and this is the first one I actually have enjoyed playing

Honestly I think 1 and the Ezio saga was great. Everything up until the mythological ACs were trash in my opinion. Origins. Odyssey and Valhallah were fucking great.
