Howard Carter himself believed that this guards blocked the hallway to the tomb so these scavengers couldn't try to steal from it. Some people involved in the discovery died after this was made, yes, but many others lived a normal life (Howard Carter for example died in 1939, 17 years after the discovery, and it was from cancer at 68 years old); Lord Carnarvon's daughter, Evelyn, who was next to his father the day they opened the tomb, lived another 57 years, and the list goes on and on... I personally enjoy the story, but it is just a myth, there is no conclusive evidence on a real curse, some people believe that there could be some organism living inside the tombs as a result of the isolation that could have had some kind of impact on our bodies. But again, it is just speculations. Btw, the book that I am currently reading is titled "Los grandes misterios de la historia", published by History Channel, and the information I gave you is from the page 289, and others from the chapter "Tutankhamun's curse". Just in case you want to check it out or read about it. Really interesting stuff, but I don't know if it's published in english, I'm afraid

In real life, big boy Tutankhamun would not have been doing much fighting, considering he had basically every singe genetic disorder known to man, had scoliosis and a clubbed foot and could not walk without a cane.

Yeah, i actually was surprised how easily he took on an opponent 3 levels ahead of him. It would take me a while and a whole lot of dogging on normal to take a boss (god) 3 levels ahead of mine.
