The mask only works against smoke bombs in freeplay mode. its useless in the level against hope probably because it wasn't ment to be used in that level

I had expected as much. It’s not ordinary gas, and the so called “gasmask” is literally just a peice of cloth over Shay’s mouth.

I did this without knowing anything about this level beforehand. The mask won’t work when the level starts, but if you die and respawn he will have his mask on, and you’ll able to freely run around WITHIN the room. Once he gets outside though, it doesn’t work anymore. He’ll still be affected by poison once he starts chasing her.

Played through the entire game with that skin, s6m2 doesn't use the mask on the skin so... there's that.

Too bad this game wasn’t longer. Was a good story. Assassins seemed like the bad guys for once unknowingly killing millions of innocent people. Shay was the perfect hidden weapon for the Templar order.
