The problem was Syndicate and Unity became underrated so Ubisoft misunderstood people's mind and they tried something else like..odyssey and now people are complaining against it

The kidnapping mechanic was really unique, would love to see it again in other games

I think the rope launcher is actually a really cool gadget in Syndicate. It allows you to cross large gaps in buildings quickly and scale a building quickly for an efficient escape. The zip line assassination is also really fun to use. If they make an Assassins Creed game closer to the modern day again I’d love to see the rope launcher return.

Ac syndicate is literally my favorite ac of the old games. The only reasons why it's underrated is because unity was a buggy mess and the fans backlashed it on syndicate

i’d love to see a feature in assassins creed where you can opt to put on gloves before entering combat or attempting an assassination so that if they get blood on them you can take them off afterwards as to not arouse suspicion and if you don’t take them off or don’t wear gloves, the blood on your hands makes enemies skip growing suspicion and instantly begin pursuing you!

I've played most of the AC games and tbh Syndicate probably has one of the best open worlds. The world is so interesting, detailed, and fun to explore. Imo, the best medieval city is probably in AC2, best industrial revolution city is Syndicate, and best modern is probably Watch Dogs 2. I'm no Ubi fan though, I just think their worlds are more interesting than even GTA games.

Just started a new game recently and realising this has some of the best stealth potential in the whole series. The free running is also pretty good, however not as good as Unity because the environment, but without the flaws of Unity parkour. The biggest let down is the combat, which is pretty simple, but you can still pull off some cool moves with a bit of creativity. All things considered, I think it’s a great game, and very underrated.

I my opinion I'd like Ubisoft learn some of the parkour mechanic from infamous. Particularly the precision you have. You want to jump here or grab there, no problem. Assassins creed parkour needs more precision, too many times I want to jump in a precise spot and I couldn't. For me it's too linear.

I honestly wish this game could have been set a little later so then it was the era that peaky blinders was set in. That would have been fab

Syndicate is like Unity's little sibling, slightly inferior in almost every aspect but still great. Those puddles on London streets especially during evenings were gorgeous.

Unpopular opinion : I think this game was better than Black Flag. At least, you felt like an assassin, the parkour was nice and the story wasn't that bad.

I just purchased this game . I bought Unity and so far so good enjoying it more then Oddessey and Orgins to be honest .

This game had so much potential with the engine they had to work with. I wouldve liked it a lot had they just focused on eve as the main protagonist, just simply made the buildings closer to each other instead of adding a grappling hook, made combat better, had your character just always wear the hood instead of the hood/hat thing, etc. There are a lot of cool and immersive things they added in this game, but just had a lot of basic things go horribly wrong

Still got no idea why ppl hating on the zipline in this game. it helps you a lot, you can climb faster and get to the place you want easier, Ubi make a good thing in here, bcs based on the environment where London's building was a wide open type and tall af so they provide a tool where you can cut your time to climb the buildings, and of course you doesn't have to use it you don't want to.

I always loved the ambience of syndicate and personally it could have been my favourite one of them all had the parkour been the same as unity's and had the combat looked less cartoonish and been more difficult.

Unity and syndicate are so underrated

before i state my case (rpg games don’t count as ac) feel like this needs to be said: 1. only ac with toggle-able hoods 2.only ac with switchable male/female master assassins, plus they’re twins 3.only ac to improve upon the previous game in the engine 4.more grounded and realistic than unity (no hate against unity though still love it just prefer syndicate) 5.has the kenway saga camera bounce i missed so much in unity 6.had better skill tree/weapons/combat/cosmetics than unity 7.a bit more well written and engaging story (no unity hate) 8.unity doesn’t have vehicles let alone such dynamic one 9.cable launcher when used properly is magnificent 10. unity relied heavily on co op feature, was even named for it (unity still stands up when played single player but main feature being co op is thus made irrelevant) 11. removing manual jump resulted in smoother movement and gameplay and only improved my experience 12.finally most closest to modern time period, more complex villain than unity (you feel his presence more throughout the game) and massively improved level, world and parkour design!

I think Syndicate is very easy when you get to level 10, you kill enemies with one touch (sorry for the english)

They added most AC games to ps+ premium and I just been playing all of it. They didn’t have AC Syndicate on ps store. its backwards compatible but borderline unplayable. I bought that shit tho and its very fun.. Probably my favorite of the series (after AC2 ofc) . I get a Saints Row 2 vibe the way u can recruit homies. + i love Evie’s fine ass. a badass female protagonist is always a great time

Hello Swifty. I seem to have a problem with using a ps4 controller in this game even though it should have native support. My buttons are all messed up and have switched places. I have tried with ds4windows and without and nothing seems to work. I also can't find anything on the internet about this. Do you know what the problem might be? Or anyone in the comments maybe?

The definite best in the franchise, i said it once i’ll say it again, the only assassins creed major franchise instalment to improve upon its engines predecesor. Think about it, ac 1 was best of the originals for its simplicity and that beaut of a vault mechanic that ac2 lacked annoyingly (love ezio please don’t be mad), ac3 was best in kenway saga, (naval combat was an optional feature not forced, all four fluctuating seasons+ in time with the story development) native american protagonist+Desmond’s final game 😢 the rpg’s with an exception to origins purely for its beauty, story and prequel quality besides that not technically assassins creed and if you can honestly tell me odyssey was an improvement (as an ac game) and subsequently valhalla then i respect the grip in which you have on your opinion, it’s impressive really! which is your favourite ac game from before the rpgs?
