I'm impressed with how dense the city is. Nothing compares to the streets of Unity, but this definitely feels more lived in than the past 3 games.

London in Syndicate captured the real city vibe. In Unity pretty much everywhere is dense. It doesn't have to be like that. Syndicate is imo the most lived AC game to date.

its literally looks same as origins odessy and valhalla. they pretty much used the same objects for the environment instead of making a full new game. like how can ancient greece and eygpt looks so similar.

@@Cr-lb5plIt doesn’t really look anything like odyssey or Valhalla. They literally rebuilt a city which mind you doesn’t exist anymore from the ground up and it’s more dense and built for parkour in any of those three games.

Big history nut here At 10 seconds in the town crier says "Sheikh Ar Razi has published a new treatise, Man La Yahduru Tabib" Sheikh Ar Razi or Abu Bakr Ar Razi was an extremely influential and important figure in the history of medicine and is legendary for his contributions to medical science. This work which is referenced was a handbook made for the poor masses who couldnt afford a doctor and has medical treatments and home remedies for hundreds of common illness and injuries. It literally translates as "For him who cannot find a doctor" I was not expecting at all to hear this at all today but it has made me more hyped for the game than all the previous marketing combined. I cant wait to see what other historical references are in the game.

@@izmirs. Yes it is, available but its in arabic , tricky to get hold off but a quick google does bring back results. There are several books from the Islamic golden age which still exist today thankfully, however they are mainly in arabic

The og and Ezio's trilogy are the undisputed kings regarding atmosphere and Assassin's mood. Some tiers above the good AC Unity and the almost great AC3. Then there's the rest of 'em. One more disappointing than the other.

I like the vibe of the game. It's just a shame that they haven't changed the parkour system much. And the combat system looks terrible. The enemies don't even give feedback on some hits. But I'll probably play it mostly in stealth anyway

The parkour was ripped from Valhalla since its the same engine as it was originally meant to be dlc. Hopefully when they nake another traditional AC, they'll be able to make the parkour better.

Cutscenes are severely broken, and the enemy Ai leaves much to be desired, looking other side when Basim strikes. On the bright side, the graphics are flawless, and the locations are incredibly well-crafted. It's like experiencing Assassin's Creed 1 with awe-inspiring, photorealistic visuals.

They wanted different gameplay before origins, so they made it more RPG, some liked it and some didn’t. Then Valhalla and it went down hill,now they’re literally re-releasing the exact same formula they milked for like 12 years straight to us in 2023, and people are praising them for it. It’s the same game before the rework. I’m sure it’ll be decently fun, but it’s nothing new at all. If it weren’t for the graphics on this video, you could almost say they released this 8 years ago and no one would know the difference

Yeahhhhh no. This isnt back to the roots, they just fleshed out Valhalla's engine and gave us some parkour. I sadly wont be buying it, i was REALLY hoping for them to completely re-up the engine so it played like Unity but smoother... or even previous titles from the golden days

What game are you looking at, the NPC animations are Skyrim quality. Only Basim has moderately good animations, and the transitions between them are still terrible.

Am I the only one that dislikes how "Clunky" the assassin feels when you move the character? In the first 3 Assassin's Creed he moved and felt quick, like an assassin should. The animation when walking or fighting seems to move more like a soldier than a swift and light assassin. :(

I think where they messed up in these games recently was the too big open world idea, too much going on. Remember Less is more. With that this looks like a step in the right direction, but they still aren’t quite there. Hopefully we get the true AC back, the fans that we all are, deserve that much.

Furthermore AC2 excels in many aspects as character's progression, character' writing, historical research (among many things, you have a full text description of every monument, city and historical character you encounter), enthralling secondary plots that involves important characters, you have the dope modern day story, witty characters... so much that I can't explain everything without making a wall of text
