In my 22 years living in Manchester, I’ve witnessed the gradual decline of this once great city and I hold the universities responsible for this decline - as an older gay man, I agree with your point about the “progress” pride flag which does not represent me - frankly, what has happened during Covid in particular does sadden me, because we both know that things could be so much better, as we have seen with the Singapore Airlines Cabin Crew, an inspiration of true class and sophistication and these wonderful cabin crew are a beacon of light and great hope for all of us, showing us what it could be like ❤❤❤

Charlie, the kimpton which is the former Palace hotel has some incredible secrets as part of its history. When I worked there, all the old safes from the days if when it was the old Refuge Assurance building are still there, below street level and quite remarkable to see! They go quite deep under the ground and there’s many of them….plus there are tunnels which frequent between the former staff dining area which is now the main banqueting room ….the tunnels go from behind the stage and stretch very far in most directions…. I don’t know if any of the urban explorers have been down there but I would highly recommend it to anyone who can get down there.

I was working on the refurb of the uni , you see some wonderful characters Also the town hall is getting a massive refurbishment , the heaters running constantly in there to keep moisture out is insane , must be costing around a grand a day on heat alone.

So sitting here in Bangkok 4 years sober,in the madness of alcoholism I managed to visit 130 countries and territories,then my illnesses really took over and all I could do was drink,nothing only drink,I was trying to get sober for 8 years,I finally got there and have now been to 20 new countries,I am doing something with my life not going around a one brilliant and great country pick on the weakest in society,drug addicts and alcoholics sick people,i agree with most of your political views,but to bully addicts,it’s very sad to see,I will be back in the uk to work as street trader for 5 months this summer,I will come up to manny and debate you on your treatment on the weakest in our society

He does not bully them, he films the public. It is a sad reality to see people living in that state but criticizing Charles for showing a glimpse of reality or sometimes defending himself when people get in his personal space is nonsense. I have seen many videos from Veitch and yes Veitch is not perfect, but he is consistent. Pointing the finger at him and getting that sense of social justice for calling him out is simply wasting your time and energy. If you want to help people in your position, there's a million and one things you can do in society to help across the world as this goes on everywhere. I am sure Veitch appreciates just as much I do the fact that you shared a small piece of your story. Much respect, from Canada!
