We do a first drive quick review on the new Aston Martin DBX 707 to provide technical info and impressions. It's crazy to think that today, more supercar-like SUVs are being manufactured than actual sports cars. If are you in that 1% of buyers who has the cash and needs this, it does not get much better. Others to consider are BMW X5M, Mercedes AMG, Porsche Cayenne GT, and Lambo Urus.

Next James Bond movie will have Bond married and with a kid driving this. He will be explicitly complaining that it’s not a GT sports car, but at the end of the film he will recognize that it’s not so bad. That will be the only character arc in the movie and Aston will have an opportunity to make a DBX 007 707 limited edition.

I’ve been getting more and more endeared to Aston Martins the more I’ve gotten to see them up close. I can appreciate the DBX and the 707 especially with Jacks insight to its capabilities. The ridiculousness of owning a practical vehicle that can out perform various sports cars and be enjoyed like one is something that an alternate reality rich me would definitely find intrigue in

Andy's "lecture" was excellent and honestly it sounds good and has a nice enough interior. Way better than the DB11, way better. Thank gosh it's not another VW Group SUV.

I can tolerate Audi & Porsche, and to some degree Bentley as the luxury aspect of the Bentayga is more important than mere mechanical underpinnings. Urus is a bit disappointing.

@@timcleary6339 to be completely fair every automatic/ DCT European car with a longitudinal engine, apart from Mercedes and Ferrari, uses a gearbox from ZF. So the rest aren't special either.

Local dealership just got a dozen of these and the interior is insane. Not sure who these dozen are for but my god they will never be driven as they were intended. Amazing handling and the sound. Shame it'll just be a mall cruiser.
