Cosmin Gugu was nothing to do with any seal. The filter itself what he used was a third party one. Witch isnt good. They have a huge amount of mesh that restricts the oil from entering the filter itself. It had high oil pressure hence why it choked and cut out

I had the crankshaft positioning sensor replaced and I still have problems starting. It clicks several times (some days) and then eventually starts. It's a pain!

+Ditlir Isa no its not the AGR ventil. it was cleaned out. the fuel filter did not have a real vacum to keep the diesel inside there. the car would start. use the diesel in the fuel lines from the engine to the fuel filter. then it would just stop after all the diesel was used. because there was no vacum in the fuel filter it caused the diesel to run back to the tank. so it had to be started a few times to the diesel pressure was up again and the fuelfilter filled up with diesel agian.

touareg91m well diesels are suppose to sound a little loud. A quiet dti or cdti engine is actually bad. They always sound loud or slight tappet sound. He replaced the fuel filter. Third party ones have a huge amount of mesh along the inside of the filter. Witch reduces the amount of oil going in. There for creates high oil pressure hence why the car cut out in the video

i have no clue buddy. its my dad's car. he tried to change the diesel filter house, completley. but then the car wouldnt crank up at all anymore. so im guessing you need something chipped for this filterhouse. i think the filterhouse is not really closed and then somewhere might be a little gap where air comes in at night into the vacuum where the dieselfilter sits.

I think the pipes near the diesel filter are punctured, or the diesel filter's sealing. Try to see those two pipes. good luck

what we tried is now opening the dieselhouse. then we poured some diesel into it until it was fully after a diesel filter change and now we will see if that helped it. maybe the vacuum isnt strong enough.

mine is on 311.000 or around that new filter,idk what else to fix

XGeorge27 fuel filter. Although your problem could be different. It could be a number of things. Fuel filter. Crank sensor. Dying fuel pump. Or egr blocked

+TheNeteiksu dont use thrid party filters. use the original stuff from opel/vauxhall even if it costs more, just use it.

no its been fine now. i changed the diesel fuel filter to a thrid party filter. then it started to do the things shown in the video. but it all stopped now after i changed it back to an original diesel fuel filter. its just a few bucks more but worth it.

Si eu am aceeasi problema cu masina, acum o am in service, invarte dar nu porneste, brusc a inceput sa faca treaba asta, cei de la service au schimbat filtru de motorina cu tot cu carcasa, au amorsat pompa si apoi a pornit..... problema a fost ca, dupa ce au oprito si au lasato 3 ore, iar nu a mai pornit... din cate mi-au zis ceva dezamorseaza pompa de combustibil si nu trage cat trebuie, si incearca sa afle ce face treaba asta . Aveti aceeasi problema ?

Szia! Igen, H Astra-m, van 2005-ös, 1.7 CDTI, Z17DTH motorkódú. Erre a problémára nincs hibakód nekem. Én beszereztem egy OBD-s kódkiolvasót azzal néztem. Sajnos vannak hibakódjaim, nagyjából tudom is hogy miért de szerintem azok ettől függetlenek. Abból gondolom mert ha mondjuk este kitörlöm a hibákat majd reggel indítom és persze leáll utána nincs benne semmi hiba.

I had this problem in january and changing the fuel filter was my solution. This friday it happened again for a few times so I went to the mechanic who said the fuel filter case may take up some air. He told me to park the car with the engine faced down for a few days, so the 'air bubbles' will go up (science fact) at the end of the pipes. Did this and the car starts normal now, and I was sure this was the problem, but reading your comment just makes me think maybe I have another problem, not the faulty filter case. Can you tell me if the crank sensor error shows up in the diagnose log? Thank you!

Ciprian M. Yes it should be there(the error code for crank sensor). You run out of diesel thats why you had that issue.

Never ran out of fuel, happened to me with full tank, half tank and so on...

if ur engine struggles to start like in this video, it's a common fault for astra (crank sensor).

Its the crankshaft position sensor mate. Got the same problem now. Do a pedal test get your codes and search them up you'll probably find a 33529 CODES on the ecu

der motor läuft ja anfangs, der anlasser isses ned geweßen. mittlerweile is das problem gelöst.

GM Opel Dieselfilter rein anstatt MANN&Hummel Filter und Original Opel Dichtung dafür und das wars...
