Bricky mentioned a tournament player that ran pure infantry near the end. That was "Mordian Glory" if i remember correctly. It was something like 240 infantry, along with several officers to keep them ordered up and HWT's embedded in the infantry squads (all HWT lascannons for big firepower, protected by normal guard wounds), along with Scions for backline harassment if i remember correctly. His Iron hand Straken ended up killing a Chaos Knight in melee. Straken cannot be stopped!

Can confirm the Primaris Psyker is honestly kind of a baller. A bit squishy, but thus far my dude's managed to take down: * A 5-model squad of Deathmarks in a single round of shooting. * Solo'd an Eightbound in melee combat. * Dropped Cato mother-loving Sicarius in melee. Plus you can stick him in a Chimera and have him drive-by-brain-blast people. Absolute chad.

Bricky loves his Ghosts but i have never seen them make any substancial progress. It was really funny one time someone was running Assassinate(i believe it was Raf with his black templars) and Ghosts maxed it out in one turn

The backstory to the game is that the Guard had come on a campaign to cleanse the planet of an Ork infestation. Once the infestation was dealt with it was discovered that the planet was in fact a tomb world.
