The fact that he doesn't know if his own sister can eat eggs or likes vegetables says a lot. They shouldn't isolate these kids from their families. People intrinsically need human/family interactions so we don't feel so alone in this world. May he RIP. 💗

Sua trained for around 10 years and debuted when she was 22. And as binnie is also an idol ,I guess they both left there houses at around 12-15 age to be a trainee so I guess that's why they know nothing about each other !!! And while being a trainee too they weren't allowed to meet properly as binnie was already an idol when sua was still training!!! But it's so sad to learn that they're not allowed to even meet their families!!

Omg tbh I didn’t even know who he is…but watching him and his sister talking their dreams and seeing how they trained since they were a kid aft knowing what just happened is incredibly sad. I can’t believe someone with such so much talent and a big smile is no longer here. He had so much to offer the world…Hope he is in a better place now. Rest in peace brother ❤

I really hope that this opens up discussions abt how it’s like to be an idol in Korea And not just about depression. U can never truly know what’s your idol or a person is going through watching from ur phone screen and going to their concerts. We as fans must understand that idols only show us the best part of their life: the cool clothes, the amazing performances, in order to bring joy and entertainment to our life for just a few hours on stage. I implore anyone who wants to send hate to any idol to look beyond the glamourous cover of an idol life and recognise that some of them are the loneliest and the most hardworking people in the world. Even if you’re not their fan, please do not spread any kind of hate to them.

Same. I didn’t know him either but seeing these videos, I wish I had known of him. What a lovely person and brother. My heart hurts for his family and sister. My eldest son acted briefly and wanted to act more, I advised him not to and to focus on living life away from fame because of how pressurising it can get. The Korean entertainment industry is however on a next level in terms of stakes and stress. And sasaengs are scary. Expectations can really weigh on them. Loneliness too. It’s a lot to sacrifice to shine on stage. No love life. No time with family. No peace of mind because all eyes are always on you. 😢

Seeing him so happy like this makes me happy, but you never know what someone is going through inside 💔 sometimes the people who smile most, cry the most within. He seemed like a lovely person with a bright smile and a great brother to Sua. Sending her and his family love, I hope they find happiness again soon. This is heart breaking, ASTRO worked so hard to make themselves known, and once they became more mainstream, you'd think they would be "happy" but it goes to show, that no matter how bright the lights are on stage, it's difficult to fight that inner darkness. Money alone can't bring happiness everytime. We never really know how people take things and I cant imagine how much pain he was going through to take that drastic step. I don't know I wish he spoke with someone who actually cares for him so that it could have been avoided. I wish he should have talked with his parents or sister I really feel sad for him and all those ppl who are going through this type of situation. It's very hard but I hope it gets better

He was so young too. How many more people have to die, for this industry to realize that there needs to be discussion with both idols and trainees on dealing with mental health?

Rest in peace. I only got to know him through shorts, and it was mostly him being the 'moodmaker' and he always had a smile on his face. But I felt that he was a very genuine person, and that he would thrive in this industry, which is why the news of his departure comes as such a shock to me. I hope his family and loved ones are well.

I did not follow their group closely but I always see Moonbin's shorts and he always has a very nice smile. at some point, watching him provided me comfort because he just smiles so brightly. Seeing the news of him dying by suicide felt like I just lost a friend who made me smile by seeing him smile. How much more would the fans and the families feel😭 However, pls take comfort in the fact that he's already been freed from suffering. You lived well, and now you no longer need to suffer. I didnt hear about Moonbin until after he passed but when he talked he had something about him, some spark even when i couldn't understand what he was saying he seemed genuinely sweet and kind . Rest in Power
