I would say that it eroded by the time the regolith covered everything. Micro meteoric bombardment and radiation from the Sun and outer space are quite effective on the Moon surface. Though, big craters should remain I guess. I don't have the definitive answer and I'm not sure anyone has it yet. We shall definitely return there to answer this issue!

I heard one of their Project Managers say it made no sense to have a RTG on board before they were sure their lander would work flawlessly.
