So Terrence Howard says black holes don't exist because you can't take something OUT of the universe. I agree. He says gravity is an after affect of electricity. I urge anyone with an interest in science to see Rogan's podcast with Mr. Howard. So much food for thought.

This is the best concept for the future. "If" you can design a sail that reflects 99.99% of the laser light...which will be far better than any mirror that exists. The laser is also a huge problem. Also, minimum cost 10 billion dollars.

Nobody really knows what a supercharged atmosphere is going to do. Suppositions about ice balls are not the scientific consensus- the ensuing stupidity in the comments will bear this out.

The Viking missions already proved that there is life on Mars, but we just decided to ignore those results, and to never repeat those same test in any future mission since then...

kinda makes sense light changes when you're looking at it, since observations depend on light, if something is interacting with it then wouldn't it alter it at least a little bit? I'm not good with words so I'll use an example, non-stick (polytetrafluoroethylene) isn't toxic when consumed because it doesn't interact with the body, for it to be toxic to the body it'd have to be interactable. so if light was to have the same properties without change then it'd have to be uninteractable, but since it interacts with so many things it's susceptible to change, which we must thank because otherwise vision would be an interesting process.

As vast as the universe is, it would be supreme conceit to think that we are the only life out there. I hesitate to say intelligent life when I look at the condition of the world today. Whoever said that intelligent life will destroy itself before traveling to the stars may have been a prophet because they were sure looking at our future.

For me the bit in interstellar that felt the least likely was how they managed to dock their ship, where the dock was no longer the centre of gravity of the damaged hub ship. It would literally have to be perfect or the sheering force of the differring turning moments and relative linear forces would trash everything.

There is a simpler reason for the asymmetry... most of the universe is still charged full of the initial inertia from the original expansion of the 'big bang'. More antimatter will occur over time. Eventually the antimatter will exceed the matter...

I would like to point out that iridium is found in natural water. Granted a very miniscule amount, but if there was, say, a huge mass of water that wiped out the dinosaurs, there would be a thin layer of iridium.

It would imply a routing protocol exists that determines the best path between two end points. Like :- RIP - selects the path with the lowest hop count. OSPF -selects the path with the lowest cost. EIGRP -selects the path with the highest bandwidth and lowest delay (unless you change the K values). BGP - selects the best path based on a list of attributes. Photons - selects the path based on probability, refractive index of mediums encountered in the path and many other attributes just like BGP protocol.

If I remember correctly, we're still not certain if the center of a block hole is in fact a singularity. There could be a ball of matter packed in there just below the event horizon. It's frankly impossible to know as I understand it, because anything passing the event horizon is forever lost. But this means it doesn't have to be infinitely dense either. Just as dense as physically possible. 8:51 Simple: "Nothing" is a concept. "Nothing" does not exist. Imagining a space with nothing in it, is still not nothing. Space has dimensions (directions) and is defined as occupying a certain area. "Nothing" doesn't have dimensions, it doesn't take up space. It is utterly meaningless, as it can be anywhere, but we wouldn't be able to tell since it has no properties whatsoever, and/or nowhere, since everywhere in our universe is *something* . "Nothing" can not be warped by a black hole, or trapped it in it.

Have enjoyed this channel for a while now, and while I haven't heard string theory conceptualized this way before, I don't see how this significantly differs from whatever we consider the correspondent theory right now. Exciting to see someone swinging for the fences though, and excited to see part 3 whenever that comes out (and apparently I'm a month late to this one).
